Hi folk!
Good news, we just fixed the problem which was seen on some machines that were produced before 2016 year.
Had a lot of headaches before we figured out exact hardware reason of that crash. Hope new build gonna be stable:

https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/releases/download/v0.3.0.68/Boolberry-macos-x64-v0.3.0.68.2bbd9cb.dmg

Please, in case of any problems create a ticket in our github https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry , write here or in our slack channel boolberry.slack.com

Thanks, Zoidberg

replaced wallets on bbRA ****************** without Payment Id
These are integrated addresses we implemented in May/June.  It's a combination of standard address and payment id in one encoded string for convenience.
simplewallet now has a new command "integrated_address" to perform a conversion both ways and can seamlessly send coins to both type of addresses as well as gui wallet.

Until pools upgrade their daemons/wallets up to the last version, you may withdraw first to your wallet, then transfer to the exchange.
Please make sure you have the latest version.
I am on latest and I think it takes more than that to support integrated addresses. I haven't looked at the pool code for verifying addresses in a while, though.

EDIT:Because at this rate...it will take 1 1/2 weeks left open 24/7 to sync.    Cheesy

To speed up the synchronization process you may want to move Boolberry blockchain to SSD drive and/or use --db-sync-mode=fast daemon CLI option.
Please, make sure you're using v0.3.0.68.
Once the blockchain is fully synced it's recommended to remove --db-sync-mode=fast or to switch to --db-sync-mode=safe (default) to avoid DB issues in a case of power fails or OS crash.

In the next release (v0.3.0.69 I guess) --db-sync-mode=ultra will also be available for even faster synchronization for a price of consuming some RAM.

Thx.. but the problem is I'm using this computer. But it seems much slower with the latest version.  Smiley

If your computer doesn't have an SSD and only has a rotating HDD, using --db-sync-mode=fast should increase synchronization speed also.
Just make sure you have Boolberry v0.3.0.68 and use this CLI option.

Zoidberg has always been synonymous with innovation in CryptoNote, and he epitomizes hard work.

Zoidberg is a crypto unicorn.

Teaser: Zoidberg wasn’t not working the past 3 years... (intentional double negative) Smiley

If that's true, where is Louis d'Or?  Where is the code the dev tax has for 3 years been paying CZ to keep working on?

Where is LMDB?  Where is Ring CT?  Where is the PR for bulletproofs?

Why doesn't CZ do something useful like contribute to Kovri or Tari instead of keeping this shitcoin abandonware thread bumped?

Why dont you instead of shitting here and beating the better coin, instead of promoting monero, jump in to the innovation wagon named BBR?
This is the same kind of talk you opened crappy mouth. How long did it take for monero to integrate lmdb?? lol of time if you take a comparison.

There is room for XMR, BCN and BBR.

Compere them, you will easily see which coin can and has potential. Monero integration is great. Now put BBR on binance and other major exchanges. What are you scared of.

Wownero the only cryptonote that will remain standing long term.

Seriously though, didn't boolberry change name to doubloons? How did zoidberg pick two names (three?) that were both worse than wownero?

Goddamit, they just keep pooping up Smiley

I know that the consistency in development in crypto pays sooner or later, a lot, and a dev team around BBR is STRONG. Competitors feel the need to step in and "help" in clarification.

Ok, I see. Which OS do you use?
There's a couple of options on Windows. You can create a shortcut to Boolberry.exe then right click it, go to Properties/Shortcut and change Target from this:
Code:
C:\YOUR_BBR_FOLDER\Boolberry.exe
to this:
Code:
C:\YOUR_BBR_FOLDER\Boolberry.exe --db-sync-mode=fast
Then use this shortcut to start Boolberry.

Alternatively, you can open the Command Prompt, navigate to Boolberry folder and type:
Code:
Boolberry.exe --db-sync-mode=fast

Yes windows 8.1 I'm using. I did try --db-sync-mode=fast on the shortcut before and didn't notice much difference. But I'm trying it again and letting it run overnight to see if there is a difference long term.
Thanks  Smiley

Boolberry project is really undervalued. But It's been a lot of work and effort this year.
I'm thinking this technology has a great future.

Bittrex delisted XBB almost a year ago. If you still have some XBB there just withdraw them to your local wallet.

I've just tried to sync from scratch with --db-sync-mode=fast on my i3-6320 with 5400 rpm Western Digital HDD.
Windows 7 x64 with Booberry v0.3.0.68.
After an hour I'm at height 130800 (~9-12 hours to get fully synced).

If you familiar with command line, you can use simplewallet --generate-new-wallet=Some\path\no\new\file  to generate new wallet(address) without synchronizing the whole blockchain, i mean you can do synchronizing later.
Sorry for this issue, we working hard to improve performance.

I know that the consistency in development in crypto pays sooner or later, a lot, and a dev team around BBR is STRONG. Competitors feel the need to step in and "help" in clarification.

It's also interesting how all the Monero (and Zcash) variants were supposed to be ASIC proof. After ASICs for them materialized, the mining algos were changed in a whack-a-mole fashion, without any serious regard for ASIC resistance (e.g. similar memory requirements). Meanwhile, BBR's Wild Keccak remains out of reach for current ASIC tech. No algo is technically ASIC proof, but there are different levels of resistance, and BBR's is looking very high in comparison.

(I keep hearing about MTP that's supposed to in a league of its own, but so far, nothing has been delivered. BBR delivered its algo many years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if some other coin adopted Wild Keccak, but the NIH syndrome is strong in cryptocurrencies.)

That is actually one aspect that Wownero is looking to diverge from Monero on, by implementing a proof of work based on randomly generated JavaScript programs. The idea was put forth by hyc the lmdb person, and has now been implemented by user tevador on GitHub. This would be more geared towards CPUs though, where as bbr is geared towards GPUs. Sorry for intruding on the thread, was mostly just coming to joke about the name...ah the good old days when bbr name was endlessly and repeatedly debated on shitcointalk.
