We're in the process of upgrading the coin.

We should have the following ready for release in the next week:

1.   Advanced Coin Control: Choose which blocks you transfer for optimized staking
2.   Mint Staking Information Icon
3.   Unlock Wallet Button

Please stay tuned for these important updates!

An unlock wallet button is essential. I'm looking forward to using it.

We're thinking about implementing x11 /x13 for the remainder of the distribution period.

What does the community think about an x11 / x13 fork?

We are notifying all the pools of the current x11 upgrade.

We want to make sure this upgrade goes as smoothly as possible.

It will require a hard fork !

All this for a much smoother, and more fair initial distribution.

Stay tuned!

HARDFORK ALERT: BLUECOIN v1.1.1.0 SWITCHING TO X11 ON 6/22/2014 00:00:00 UTC

We need all the mining pools / exchanges/ services / games / faucets to switch over to the new code immediately in order for us to have a smooth upgrade!!

https://github.com/bluecoiner/bluecoin

Changes done in the latest upgrade:

1.   X11 algorithm upgraded from scrypt.
2.   Advanced Coin Control: Choose which blocks you transfer for optimized staking
3.   Mint Staking Information Icon
4.   Unlock Wallet Button

We are in the process of talking to established X11 pools to help with this transition and help us decentralize the BLUE mining ecosystem. If you would like to read more about the advantages of X11 please refer to this wiki. http://wiki.darkcoin.eu/wiki/X11

We've already contacted the Windows / OSX wallet developers and we shall have the new wallets compiled in the next 24/48 hours.

Thank you all for your support during this exciting time!

Interesting, what CoinMine.pw was not announced about any changes. Looks like only one working pool now...
I catch version bump.
I don't think it's possible to make such hard fork in 4 days.
What about exchangers? Poloniex and bittrex updated?

Bluecoin has established partnership with Bitscoinshop (http://www.bitscoinshop.com.br/en/) where you can buy items by using Bluecoins, and enjoy 5% discount. As Bluecoin is not yet integrated with the payment platform, you will need to use the following procedure during checkout:

1. Customers wishing to purchase using Bluecoin should choose the product, along with signing up with the details and place of delivery;

2. Choose the bank transfer as the payment method, meanwhile leave a message to indicate that you want to pay with Bluecoin;

3. In the message, specify the dollar amount of your purchase (with 5% discount) and the quote of the current exchanging rate. Bitscoinshop will convert the amount of your purchase into Bluecoins, and send wallet address for payment.

4. Once confirmed the payment, items will be delivered.

We have many items for mining as gridseed, Asics, shoes and articles of clothing.

Bittrex is in the process of upgrading to the new code.

Poloniex is temporarily freezing the market while they upgrade to new source code!
