The Blue Team is looking for marketeers / web developers / PR specialists and anyone with special skills to join our team!

If you're interested in helping out shoot me over a PM!

That is really good to hear!   Cheesy

Thanks for posting that, Bluecoiner.

But it doesn't answer my question; is there yet a development roadmap, composed of specific technical milestones?  Huh
With BLU we have been innovating from day 1.

We have achieved many technical milestones:

1. Initial coin release.
2. X11 upgrade from scrypt (to prevent ASIC's on the main chain).
3. PoS/PoW dual algorithm upgrade (to mitigate threat of 51% attack).
4. Custom DGW/EMA upgrade on both PoW and PoS to battle difficulty fluctuations.
5. BLU Android hosted wallet.
6. Several fixes on the main client including coin control issues.

With that said there are still several things on our development wishlist which we don't have timelines for yet:

1. Cold minting: Stake your coins while you're offline.
2. BlueFog: Dark send client for added transactional privacy.
3. iPhone hosted wallet: wallet for Apple devices.
4. Stand alone mobile application that allows for staking.
5. Smart contracts execution on the blue chain.
6. Mobile wallet with staking capabilities.
7. GHOST protocol upgrade: https://eprint.iacr.org/2013/881.pdf

I hope this gives some clarity. We are still looking for developers to join the BlueCoin dev team. If you have any talent or expertise please be sure to ring a bell!

I gotta say, BlueFog sounds really cool.

But I don't see anything on your list about marketing.  You guys have said from the beginning that you have a big budget and a plan for marketing.  With over 600 alts out there it's gonna cost a lot of marketing dollars and some top industry names to get noticed.

Can you elaborate on that; maybe add some color [and give us a hint].

Thanks!

Due to little volume and trade history coin-swap.net will be delisting BLU. Please withdraw from your coin-swap.net account ASAP. Thank you.

I didn't like the hyphen in your domain name anyway.  lol

I probably have 50 dot com domain names which would be a better fit for your crypto business.  Wink

Good luck!

anybody able to help? any bluecoin support here?
1. Backup your wallet.dat in your bluecoin app data folder.
2. Delete bluecoin.qt and all data in the blucoin app data folder.
3. Reinstall to latest version of Bluecoin using http://bluecoin.info/bluecoin-win-v1.2.1.0.zip
4. Insert your backedup wallet.dat into your bluecoin app data folder.
5. Synch the block chain.

--- If the coins still do not show up ---

6. You must do a repair wallet command in the console.

Steps:

1. Open up BlueCoin QT.
2. Press Help >> Debug Window.
3. Once in the debug window press "Console"
4. Once in console type in the chat window repairwallet

Make sure you don't have any firewalls blocking the client (happens quite often on the MacBook pro).

The client should connect automatically.

There should be no configuration needed. Be sure there is no firewalls blocking the connection to the QT.

Also try running the bluecoin-qt as an administrator. That sometimes does the trick!

Hope that helps.

Still having issues?

We are going to be getting more seednodes online to see if this can alleviate some of the problems.

Did that wall at 39 get pulled or did someone buy it?

Very nice price action indeed - let's hope this is the start of a real rally and not just another short term spike.
