Blu was "down" because someone drove up the difficulty on the chain and there was not enough coins online with weight to see the next block.

Please let us know if you need more coins for your faucet as we need more BlueCoiners ONLINE and staking!

Everything seems to be back up and running again, blockexperts still has not restarted the BlueCoinD so it seems to be behind.  They have already been notified and are fixing it.
