@DEV
what are your next plans for BlueCoin?
We have been working to upgrade Blue and get it to this stage for months, however we're always looking for ways to innovate and improve our existing code-base.

We're tentatively looking at the work the BlackCoin community is doing with PoS 2.0 http://www.blackcoin.co/blackcoin-pos-protocol-v2-whitepaper.pdf.

As more improvements come to light (I.E Cold Minting), we will be integrating these solutions within due time.

Our next goal is to work on getting more users involved and using the currency.

Is the coinmine pool http://www.coinmine.pw on the correct fork? How can I tell?

I made a 1372 BLU withdraw from the  http://www.coinmine.pw pool about 7
hours ago. I still haven't received it ? Do you think It's because they're on
the wrong fork?

I still have 3600 BLU left on coinmine. Any idea how I can get them?

I'm also still bummed out because I lost a few thousand BLU from

That's $1.14.  Not sure I would waste even 5 seconds of my time worrying about a dollar let alone wasting what could be hours.

I'd rather use that time to make some money trading coins and buying 10 times as much Blue.

Cheers!

We are breaking some records once again with our hash rate!

Today we peaked out at over 20 G/H!

This coincidentally drove the difficulty sky high (over 180).

Instead of the network halting (like many coins do), it elegantly switched over to pure PoS while the difficult block was mined.

We will see the network self-adjust as appropriate, whenever network conditions become too strenuous either on the PoS or PoW side.

Happy mining!

That is nice, would like to see an even longer POW schedule if that is the case.  If diff is too high the POS can run the chain and micro periods of deflation kick in.

My guess (and no surprises) is that Coinmine.pw is on the wrong fork as difficulty is 2 and everywhere else its 20 plus. Theres gonna be some pretty upset people over there when they find out as coins have been stuck for days.

Anyone up for holding a seance with some dead relatives to try and reach the guy behind coinmine.pw and giving him a kick up the backside? Angry

my pool (goldmin.es) is 26 diff. not sure why my home wallet is struggling to sync though. maybe bad nodes?

I had no problem syncing from scratch (reinstall) - took ages but it did get there in the end. That was earlier today if thats any help?

everytime i close the wallet n restart, the block count gets closer n closer to the right one,

went to 122,057 then said it was synced.

re opened, said it was at 122,060, and had 3,129 remaining of 125,189..

after a few minutes of struggling, it said 3,127 then stopped syncing, said it was synced at 122,063.

why is this happening?! lol

It sounds like a firewall or antivirus could be causing this type of behavior.

Try turning off any active firewalls/port blockers/av and see if it synchs up fine.

BTW what is the URL of your pool?

We need more pools asap.

Hi,

After the update which was announced only in here and the following fork, our wallet got leeched.
As pool ops we can't monitor 50 threads on hourly bases, it shouldn't be a problem to contact 5-6 pools and exchanges for your updates.
We had to buy BlueCoins to compensate our miners.
Every coin we run cost us time and resources for which we pay a good price.
Because BlueCoin at the moment only costs us money, we are stopping our pool.
There is an announcement in the pool about it, please withdraw your coins in the next 5 days.

Please remove us from the pools list. Thank you.

Regards,
Franz, xHash Team
