any ideas for a 2 years birthday event?
A cake?

something like a 200 DMD bounty for the most beautiful picture of a cake with DMD Diamond  written on it and two candles on it?
and the picture include a paper near the cake with the BTT username written on it?
positive side effect on such a event would be even if u not win the bounty u should have a beautiful and delicious cake u can eat  Grin

how do we like that?
some other ideas?

I'll do it for 100 dmd!

guess most people think this way...

... DMD Diamond on the way to become a collector item?

how lucky we are early adopters that where able fill our pockets with diamonds without the problem to seek a exchange where the sellorderbook still have some to buy

i guess time runs out for people to buy in that cheap

get ur hand on DMD will soon be only able by accept a much higher price

30 days charts- today we broke 0.00070 again
but this time in a natural well filled buyprderbooks and no danger that it wont continue going upwards

90 days chats look similar

If I were you, I would hold my coins. As it seems now, DMD s gonna continue to go up.
If you do want to sell, I suggest to try Bittrex as well cause they seem to be a bit short on DMD for sale.

I have three questions that are pretty stupid, but everyone here is so friendly that I thought I would ask.

1. Can you explain the auction in more detail.  What is being auctioned?  100 DMD? Something to do with cloud mining?  The auction posts are very confusing to me.

2. I know that I should know this but I have never quite understood what happens when all of any cryptocoins have been mined, or staked.  What happens then?  Transaction fees are give to the miners?  Are transaction fees given to stakers?  What keeps everyone mining and staking to increase the security when that happens?  Are parts of the transaction fees given to the developers?

3. We pay a voluntary transaction fee of whatever we want that is charged by KB.  Why is it voluntary?  I have no problem paying a small fee to have my transaction processed.  I actually want the miners and stakers to get part of the fee because I want them to help secure the network.  Their gear isn't free, so it needs to get paid for in some way.  Why isn't there a minimum transaction fee?  Also, why by KB?  Why not by actual transaction instead of by how much data it uses?

I know everyone is probably thinking, “This is cryptocoin 101.  Why doesn't he know this?”

I don't know it because I never asked because I didn't want to sound like a noob.

people bid with how much BTC they gona invest in DMD Cloudmining (for that investment the get the normal DMD Cloudmining shares
which is calculated that way: $ value of ur BTC investment (cryptsy BTC:$ market) = amount of DMD Cloudmining shares

the winner of the auction get the bounty of 100DMD (or after 16.06 the bounty calculated with the forumar) additional to the cloud shares he bought

DMD Diamond is one of the coins with a longterm coinrollout plan
the times when POW rewards and POS would be zero are ~30 years away
we expect the DMD Diamond even in 5 years to be a lot different from now
dont even think about 30 years

not the cornerstones of coinrolloutplan
max amount of coins and so on
this will stay

but lot additional services will come up and they will generate income too
and far longterm this income will be used to reward people who secure the network
POW for example i can see to end total in a few years when we decide for a exqual path of
increase POS with hybrid security

u have to see DMD Diamond as not technology linked project
if we see new technology that fit our needs allow recreate coinrollout mechzanics
there is absolute no reason we could not change to that

u have to see DMD Diamond as a brand and a package of services and abilities
and a ruleset of important cornerstones for investors like a know coinrolloutplan and a max amount of coins
thats all above the technology layer so on technology layer we are very flexible and can always use state of the art technology
for now bitcoin/peercoin codebase with some adaption for our needs fulfill the needs but we are not bound to it we can
switch to another code branch or even a total other codebase not bitcoin based

Quote
Why not by actual transaction instead of by how much data it uses?

all bitcoin code based coins have a limited size of a block (u can follow actual discussions about bitcoin itself to raise that size) thats the reason why people by
KB sized fees should be motivated not to waste size

yes its easy to change code ruleset and allow bigger blocks
but that mean blockchain size grow a lot mor bandwith useage for nodes
such steps have to be considered

DMD Diamond have not the troubles of bitcoin because we produce over 10x more blocks in the same timeframe so we can
without any codechange already now proccess 10x more data in the same time

about rules regarding fees as income source for gear who support the network we can think when there is a need
for now active nodes are rewarded by POS rewards active miners with mining rewards
and both kind of rewards will be for lot years a nice compensation of time and effort to secure the network

as explained in answer before dont think to limited focused on biotcoin based technology
we not bound to technology we bound to a ruleset we guarantee investors and thats linked to coinrollout speed
constant decrease of inflation and a hardcap of max amount of coins

this from investor view are the important hardfacts

development of inflation and how "rare" DMD Diamonds will be inthe future
and for both the answers exist already

I have a question... I want invest 1 btc to diamond cloud mining.. how many share  i earn and how many diamond payout daily?

$ value of ur BTC investment (cryptsy BTC:$ market) = amount of DMD Cloudmining shares

regarding payouts check out this contract dGQr9GzEyvyLAW63NiH5oKXsr8VtLFhX5B
just log in with this DMD Address at https://cloudmining.bit.diamonds/
there at mining stats > DMD Cloudmining u can see a overview of his shares
at cloudmining ROI at mainpage u can see a development of his investment in a grafical overview

and at exchange stats u can see details about daily payouts very detailed for every day in the past just use the arrow buttons to navigate

thx stoody for let ur contract be a visible example
dont worry about log in into his account u can only view u cant do any harm by mistake click arround
to access settings page there is another login required

example his all time ROI overview

i would never suggest invest only in DMD Cloudmining
it make only sence together with a investment into DMD too

example buy 1 BTC value DMD coins and 1 DMD value DMD Cloudmining

this way u have the instant value gains from DMD and the POS earnings
and the longterm positive effect of ur DMD CLoudmining and its payouts

i call such a investment setup POS² enabled DMD investment
(prove of stake + prove of shares)

also dont forget to read the terms of service
https://cloudmining.bit.diamonds/attachments/Terms_of_use.pdf

I have three questions that are pretty stupid, but everyone here is so friendly that I thought I would ask.

Let me respond to points 2 and 3.

The primary reason for keeping the network going and secured are network rewards that are coded into the software. So each time you solve the block you discover a predefined reward (in case of staking it's the percentage). Once we reach the limit of total coins there will be no more rewards generated by the network to incentivise mining/minting. However, it is then when transaction fees start playing crucial part as incentives to people for having their computers (quantum by then) securing the network.

Right now transaction fees go to miners/minters - these two processes (PoW/PoS) are very similar to each other - so any node that confirms a transaction (tx) should get a tx fee. However, asking danbi would make more sense as PoW and PoS are separate, not so sure about our current setup at the moment.

No tx fees are given to developers, however, there is a 0.01 coin support contribution per mined block that goes to a transparent account anyone can look up. After the reduction these are some miniscule amounts – cryptonit is hardcore enough to keep it going Smiley

The fee is voluntary but only in some cases, it depends on certain conditions and I think you would have to be quite determined not to pay the fee.  The higher the fee you set for processing your transaction the more likely it is your transaction gets priority treatment from the miners – it will ensure everything goes smoothly and on time.

There is a minimum tx fee of 0.001 DMD and it’s a security feature that prevents the network being DoS-ed.

Why in KB ? It’s all about sending data between computers so not sure you can use any other measure of how much data is used. Basically the bigger the number of inputs/outputs (more bytes) in the transaction the higher tx fee  is going to be.

My response might not be exhaustive and probably better to wait for danbi to answer more technical aspects of the Bitcoin protocol.

what does it tell us about supply and demand if bittrex sellorderbook run out of coins?

That is not a good thing , here's why.

It tells me that if enough diamonds are not sold to meet their listing requirement ,
That Bittrex would delist diamond for not meeting their trading requirements.
Something to keep an eye on.

Thanks for answering my questions.  I have more.
Regarding the auction:
1.  How does a person bid?  I just PM you and say I want to bid an amount for a date?  How do you know I am actually going to do it?
2.  Is it an open auction, or a closed auction?  It seems like a closed auction, or are the posts you do showing who is currently winning the auction, then I can bid higher then that to win?
3. What time zone are you using for the end of each day?
4. Also, who controls this vast stash of cloud mining investments?  Could someone just go rogue one day and run off with all of the spoils?
Regarding the time after all coins have been mined or minted.
1.  Thanks for all of the info, Cryponit!  It is good to know that innovation is a priority for DMD.  I think that is a major problem with most coins.  They just want to keep going as they are.
 These are for Popshot's reply.
2.  How do I look at the transparent account?  I don't have any problem with a reasonable portion of transaction fees going towards developers.  I want DMD to be constantly adjusting for the times.  Like I said before, I also don't have a problem with the transaction fees going towards miners/minters.
3. Are there plans to try and increase the number of transactions?  I know it is 30 years from now before the end of normal mining/minting but the more transactions we have the more mining/minting income we get.
I think that is about it.
Thanks for answering my questions!
You probably don't know this, but DMD is my favorite cryptocoin right now, which is why I am asking so many questions.
You guys have always been great on here, especially Cryptonit, Popshot and CrazyIvan.
Thanks again!
