Where are we going, why so much POS blocks?

now average 50% of network blocks are generated by POS
this generate more security because most transactions (6 confirms) contain now different blocktype origins (POW and POS)

Is something going on with the network?
I just started using Diamond coins yesterday and everything was fine.
But when I woke up this morning the wallet wouldn't sync.
Everything was synced before I went to bed.
My other cryptocoin wallets are syncing fine, so I know it isn't an Internet problem or anything like that.
I created a diamond.conf file just in case and that hasn't done anything.  I also did a repairwallet and it said it was fine.
It says it is connected with multiple people, and it still will not sync up to the current block.  At first it will show the status bar at the bottom saying I am behind a few hours, then eventually it gives up.
I looked at the log file, but that is a little above my skill level.
I am using wallet v2.0.5.5.

first of all make sure u have a backup of wallet.dat

if u dont solo mine (or have other reasons that need a conf file) u dont need a conf file with new wallet 2.0.5.7

POS min age is practical 9 days even if theoretical set to 3 days  

basical when we changed the POS min age it didnt behave as expected
but its a minor issue and maybe we leave it the way it is
after a fewPOS cycles network adapted already nice to the  new settings
and we have enought coin pile in network to power 9 days of POS

regarding the error message u show us
thats a block as the message say who is not accepted by ur wallet
a so called orphan block

if another wallet feed u to much of that garbage ur wallet will block him
(thats the (0 -> 10) it show that the banscore of that other node just rise because he feed u a orphan block)

seems a handfull wallets (u said 6?) formed a alternative reality

ur conf should be ok

leave that fork as fast as possible so he die out
i cant say for now how it happend but i got told some backbone nodes did crash maybe that was involved

they are all restarted now
we will switch provider for that nodes to improve uptime

they have a well connected and maintained wallet

also u can crosscheck by look in this thread here

if there would be big problem where chainz explorer is on wrong chain u sure read it here

sometimes a wallet restart alone is enought to fix a stuck sync wallet

Updated. The creator of the DMD price ticker app Wiskunde (who used to be our community member) has moved it to a combined app so the link has changed. I still have some old Android application package that's specifically DMD themed. Will upload it later on.
