Hey guys I've read the DMD 3.0 pdf which by the way has a lot of good info in it but i just want to be sure i red correctly cloud shares will be apart of DMD 3.0? can i still invest in cloud shares or it is coming to an end with 2.0? thanks in advance. I can answer that one. Cloud shares is continuing. You are not mining Diamonds. Mining rewards are exchanged for Diamonds which are paid out to you. It is a good way to accumulate DMD's and creates buy pressure on the market to protect your investment and increases the value of DMD's. I personally have used it frequently. GREAT! That is good to hear thanks for the info Woody.

Hi all,
Question, is there any sort of guide on how to properly build a DMDv3 wallet ready for staking on a Raspberry Pi 2? Couldn't find it on Github?
Also, if I'd choose to start staking via that way, would it be advised to buy some coins now on Bittrex and transfer them to my RPi-wallet once Bittrex is on DMDv3 as well, or is it safer to wait until Bittrex has transitioned before buying coins? Any opinions?
Thnx all!
Cheers,
S.

The minimum waiting time in DMD v 2.0 for starting POS minting is 9 days. So buying coins now, you will not have time to bet in the current wallet. Only already in the updated DMD v 3.0. You can choose what will be better, buy coins now and send them to your wallet or leave it on the stock exchange and wait for the update.

And regarding my first question of getting DMDv3 to run on Pi, are there any instructions? If not.. which is the official Github Repository for DMDv3, I've found multiple.. could it be this one: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/DMDv3 ?

The block size, in the system DMD v 3.0 is 3 MB, this to use it White Paper what's the problem? I was not clear, Sorry. In V2 you recommend 500+ coins per input to POS mint as soon after coins mature (9 days) as possible...i.e. an input block of 20 coins or even 100 coins may take many more day in V2. With the expectation that many coins will be in masternodes in V3, has anyone estimated the appropriate size coin input blocks to still POS mint as close to the 9 days but, create as many blocks as possible?

I think that now no longer makes sense to discuss the DMD version 2.0. In 3.0, anyone who has coins, will be able to participate in POS minting almost immediately after purchase. That is, to start earning money during the day.

Strange to hear that the wallet is not working on Windows 10. Although I always recommend using Windows 7 to work with crypto currency, because it is associated with security settings. On Windows 10, you have virtually no opportunity to block the leak of your personal information Microsoft and its cloud servers. On the Windows 7 test DMD wallet 3.0 is functioning normally, but we will soon check for version of Windows 10. That about work on the Raspberry Pi 3, - of course we will have support for this operating system. Maybe even we create a separate channel in #Slack if users will have many questions associated with this system.

This question concerns V3
Since there is a fixed payment per block, it would be important to have as many blocks as possible but, still mint in as close to 9 days as possible.
Has the team an estimate for the best size for input blocks?

As far as I know, by default, a new wallet is installed, the separation of the coins into blocks of 200 pieces (for optimal POS minting). In testing we check this system. Maybe she will still be corrected but it will be known later..

POS mature time will be 640 blocks pos min age 60 min this means a coin pile that found a block can join competition again after ~25 hours we estimate a good coinpile size will be in the area 300-500 DMD and we have wallet settings that help u affect the split/merge mechanics used together with POS so ur coin piles will stay in the desire size range more details in a POS guide short after release the goal is to have a zero micromanagement enviroment that still is adaptable by user the design goal of DMDv3 POS3 was clear combine security with comfort

Ran into some issues compiling DMDv3 on my Raspi, left an issue here: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/DMDv3/issues/23. Yet, from what I understand now, given your post, I'd probably best just wait a little longer and attempt my build as soon as the final version of DMDv3 arrives at the 'normal' github page. I'll take a step back and wait. Sorry to have intruded. Hope the submitted issue might still be of some use though. Cheers.
