Lots of people like it too, including me, because this prediction give us bright future with opportunity to take profits (might be big ones). Moreover, I also believe in the future of Diamond and its price (by myself, not after looking at the guys' chart you shown, cryptonit). It is due to the fact that Diamond project has shown its big potential through last products (honestly, good ones) and more are coming this year. Let's invest and enjoy your profit to come.

The idea deserves attention. I will study the documents in more detail and possibly support you on ICO, but even a cursory study it is clear that the project will be in demand among users.
Study, study a lot, this coin is born more than 4 years ago and have no ICO !!!! I will insert 5 cents too. It is sometimes amusing to read similar posts as you already noticed so often occurs. People quickly run and leave the message and quickly leave. At a forum there are a lot of projects now and it is very difficult to follow all, I would even tell it is impossible to trace everything.

Coins that outlived Mt Gox, Silkroad, Silkroad2, NewYork License, Cryptsy, Mint, Paycoin, ERC20 explosion MtGox2 and forked during the height of Bitcoin are not ICOs - they are proven coins.
Now toss in 120+ Masternodes with 10,000 each to create scarcity.
This coin is neither a buy or sell... it’s a true hoarding coin. There are so few coins that have a road map and so few that have a deep history of following it.
Hint - Magic minting coinsize is 350.

i agree in most parts just the magic minting coinsize im not sure i did study a big wallet that runs with size 40-60 and it seems to run good too so it seem total ammount of coins u have is more important than the coin pile size (as long as it is in some same area between 30 and 1000 DMD) and to big coinpilesize over 400 in my opinion starts to hurt u because the 24h freeze time for blockfinding coins 700 DMD frozen hurt more then 100 DMD frozen which is another advantage for smaler coin piles

Same hardware. One had 50s, Two had 100s, Three had 200s, Four had 300s, Five had 400s and six had 5k. The old wallet loved 100s. This new wallet combines the 50, 100, and 200s to stake... sometimes the 300s. Four hundreds stake cleanly so far. But yah the 641 confirmations kills the 5k performance. Question: as PoS difficulty rises, can we assume the coin sizes needed are goin to increase?

the ammount of coins is raising very slow we are way about half of total coins and other half need 30 years to be generated if ever (check whitepaper regarding deflation mechanics to avoid ever reach total coin max) so i think a coinpile size of 200-400 will be good forever

do u know that DMD is the only POS/Masternode coin which can automerge dust in the POS process? check this example block https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/block.dws?125570or this https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/block.dws?125383or this https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/block.dws?126191i think the no micromanagement needed way of how DMD Diamond is coded to make it not a timesink for a POS wallet user most people not aware enough that this is a big plus of DMD and dont forget u can adapt the coinpile size area the wallet automated stay inside with its merge and split mechanics by execute in wallet console the command setstakesplitthreshold xxx (replace xxx with the desired min coin pile size (the max coinpile size above a pile will be split at find a POS block is always xxx *2 ) default value is 200 which result in coinpiles between size 200 and 400 DMD for 99% of users i think this default value is great

Excellent! I didn't know that before reading your informative thread. This one is one of features which makes Diamond different in the crypto ecosystem, which abundant with forked-coins without considerable improvements. do u know that DMD is the only POS/Masternode coin which can automerge dust in the POS process? check this example block ~ most people not aware enough that this is a big plus of DMD
Good feature for small Diamond stakers, which allows them to join the staking party. However, what I know (and hope that I understand right) distributional rewards of stakers will totally depends upon two factors: their luckiness, their staking weight. Do I understand it right, cryptonit? and dont forget u can adapt the coinpile size area the wallet automated stay inside with its merge and split mechanics ~ default value is 200 which result in coinpiles between size 200 and 400 DMD
for 99% of users i think this default value is great

I have problems to sync. My wallet is is struck at block 126230 (3 hours behind). It looks I'm not the only one. Some of the peers I'm connected to are on that block, while others are on 126834. What can I do?

exact same issue here, same block stuck on 126230. and all my coins currently immature. it would appear we are on wrong chain, I have stakes that are minted with around 50+ confirmations that I suspect are orphans. reinstalling didn't fix. (latest version wallet)

the nature of static reward POS engine is very similar to POW mining but without wasting energy that means u need to constant try to find a block to have a chance to find it and the more hashrate (in POS case coins) u have the higher the chance is u find a block the way how ur coin piles are structured in ur wallet is like if u run many small miners or a few big miners the difference in find a block chances will be marginal so much more important is how many coins u own then how the coins are structured what make POS still interesting for small and medium stakeholders is that most of the coins of big stakeholders dont participate in POS because they are frozen in masternodes
