My wallet is hanging now on block 134401. i have been on latest wallet for a few weeks at least.

Only yesterday did it hang and has been really stable and working great up to then.
Anyone else got wallet hanging now?

I see only 1 wallet is on old chain,

please resync blockchain from zero

stop wallet

make sure u have downloaded the newest wallet version 3.0.1.0

delete from ur datadir the folders blocks and chainstate and the file peers.dat

and then start wallet again

datadir for most users can be found in %appdata%/DMDV3

people want good news....

how about this one?
i did run new client without groestl included a few minutes ago on real dmd network
send and recieve payments and so on
everything we did was working smooth

the only reason why we keep wallet not released for now is because
we try to release all the other changes together with groestl algoswitch
to avoid additional hardfork later on

we have now still around 14 days to finish groestl implementation
which is coming from an existing blockchain isnt as easy as start a new groestl blockchain

worst case if we run into unexpected obstakles
it have still no big impact on whole project we
could everyday release without groestl allready

i want to ask u:

how important is for u that groestl is in initial wallet release included?

  • would a second hardfork a bit later with groestl and additional UI redesign be ok for u too?
  • would a releasedate with first  cointrigger later than totalcoins 400000 be ur wish if required to stay with 1 hardfork for every change?`
  • would u  prefer to have new wallet released asap without waiting for groestl and have 50% pos activated asap too and a gurantee second hardfork required later?

comunity u like to have insight in dev decicions here we go!

i wana avoid the vaporware rumor at all cost when i was in reality just using new wallet to send a real transaction a few minutes ago  Cool

your feedback is welcome

Fully tested feats only pls.
so a second hardfork a bit later with groestl and additional UI redesign would be fine for me.

I see only 1 wallet is on old chain,
I also had recent problems with odd things happening after my computer hung/crashed.
Re-sync from scratch quickly solved the problem.

Nah - he has been around a long time - He just had too much fun on
the weekend (as he said) and probably came into the middle of the thread
and thought it was recent.

before with the old wallet, when I unlocked for staking I could see the little diamond icon on the bottom right turning into a blue icon, now it says "staking is not active" with the version 3.0.1.0, do we need to add some new setting in the conf file to allow staking ?

Hmm... You should still see the Diamond turn Blue after unlocking. Make sure you wait until it has sync'd and wait one more minute before unlocking. If that does not work, try going to Slack. There is a DMD channel specifically for Support.

And also if there are no mature coins (all staked in last 24hours) the diamond don't become blue, until some coin return from the staking lock.

Thank you so I have installed the new wallet, deleted the old data and did a full resync already and in the debug window I can see that the current block 135636 apparently up to date so how can I check if I am on the right blockchain or not ?

Check the number of the last block on the site https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/
And make sure the number matches the last block in your wallet.

Is DMD only traded in 2 exchanges Huh
I hope the DMD team plans to add more exchanges.
thank you
3 and a few not listed on coinmarketcap
its exchanges who add coins not coins add exchanges

But nowadays it is very difficult to do like that.
Mostly there is a connection between the Developer team and the Exchange Team to establish cooperation.

My wallet staked over 50 coins in few days in march. It was confirmed. Yesterday I download new wallet version and all my staked coins are gone!
Could someone explain it?
