Every time I get burned by one of these new "flash" in the pan dev's who ditch their coins (sometimes in the first day's of a coins existence) I ened up buying a few more Oranges to make me feel better about crypto land again Cheesy

this past week alone... wvs, neb, flash all seem to have dev's MIA with miners/investors left holding the bag wondering wtf to do now. every time it happens it'll make a solid coin that has been steady the whole time like OC look that much more appealing to investors Smiley

people who want to chase pump and dumps all day in the market will buy the latest thing and people who want a solid coin with longevity in mind will buy OC Cheesy

Couldn't agree more, I'm a lousy trader, new at this and still learning. Last 2 months I just keep loosing money or making bad choices, last one being SilkCoin (still hoping it takes off).
But I mined through whole POW phase of OC and whenever i have spare satoshis i buy some too. POS has been working great and getting some more there too.
Don't have much, around 50k, cause only 2 GPUs for mining and like I said bad decisions keep bleeding out any earnings. But I really believe OrangeCoin will be my first good decision in months. Smiley

Hey! Story sounds like mine. I had 3 gpu's and a 5chip gridseed mining this coin. What gpu's were you using? 2 270x and a non-reference 290 here. I mined around 150k. Sold a bunch of my alts and bought some OC too. Getting a nice collection of alts again that I'll be selling and buying OC, when the timing is right.

I was lucky to find OC in the last couple days of pow.  Diff had dropped, and  I managed to solo just over 100k,  I only wish I had found it sooner.  As with most of my coins, I'll be a longer term holder.  I have high hopes for this one.

I'm just a small fishy with my 6950 I bought from craigslist for 100. ca dollars Smiley (400 k/h's on OC now 1.5 m/h's on X11 and under 70 degrees with it dusty as can be) I think total mined for me was around 80k but was buying as I could all the way through pow at 44 sats. was up too around 200k at one time before the "sugar pill" incident and now I'm working my way back up up Wink

Our main focus is the Masternodes, once we release that, we can focus on other features. I don't know what the devs have in store for us beyond the MN, yet, although I'm sure they will continue to bring OC the best in innovation.

I know I haven't been voting as much as I should... doc appointments... oil changes... distracted.

I'm hope'n one of these new coins has a decent jump so I can put some btc towards the votes to make up for my slacking Wink (and buy up some more of these cheap OC)

No official updates or ETA. I'm assuming the planned coin model is being tested with Testnet and is the reason for the delay, but that's my personal speculation. I can verify the devs are active, no worries there. I am in contact with them almost everyday working on other things for Orangecoin. And no... I'm not saying what those things we're working on are, yet... Wink
