OC is still active at Bittrex.

I also have some problems in this cryptoworld, about investments just dying for no reason - it is either that the DEV goes missing, or some useless newbies use FUD to scare away fresh investors.

Where is OCdev?

There are many ways to revive this coin - rebranding is a very good way - we already a functioning coin.

I had the same issues with WC, AC and YC. Then came orangecoin and I thought I will have a little luck with it.

At the moment I am only intrested in NLG. The devs are good and the coin gets more and more acceptance in holland. In one year it could be 50 cent to one dollar worth .

People do not realise that a low selling coin with all the features that OC has can become very profitable, if people just pay attention. Why do people just allow investments to go to waste?

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

I will remind the community of what we have:
20% PoS, ~52 million coins
Tor network connection capabilities
Testnet
Fully functioning blockchain/wallet/nodes
Basic services done: explorers, richlists, website, forum, chart data, etc
PR "team" consisting of me and a few community members who are waiting for OCdev (or direction?) before we act.
^^ (Have to double check on this team when the time comes, it's been a while.)

OC will have a second birth, only a matter of time before someone come along and decides to pick up the coin. Our community is stronger than one might think, we have a lot of people "backstage" holding some substantial OC.

Devs just intentionally sink investments, they want us all crawling on our hands and knees - this is the real power of a Dev

I am bitter too, I should have sold when it was 400 Sats, not now that it is at 20 Sats.
I am baffled at how a coin can sink so low, but I feel that this coin can survive if we just keep it alive at Bittrex, for those of us that have funds.

I'm getting into OC lately. The wallet runs smoothly without crashing for days. I get so many POS coins. This is great.

I think something with happen with this coin. It might not be for a year but it will happen. OC is a solid coin with a good community.

Welcome! I've seen you in quite a few of the other forums I've been frequenting of late. Thanks for stopping in! Smiley

We are very strong here, but as been stated, we are lacking a dev. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the coin's function and never had any problems in that respect.

If you go to the forum @ orangecoins.info/forum you can get free OC in the 250 member giveaway. I think we're down to #75.

MESSAGE FROM BITTREX:
This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Sept 26th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.1 BTC

I guess my 14 satoshi buy order isn't getting sold into anymore. Big price spike up to 88 satoshi today.

It's ok.

Maybe people will sell me coins for 1 satoshi if it gets delisted.

That's why they call you the "fartbags", LOL.

We need to be serious, if this coin is delisted it will not trade anywhere, despite its promising features. I have seen too many coins waste away.

We need to step up trade.

It seems that BITTREX wants to delist many coins, it has issued numerous warnings today.

An average of 0.1 BTC per day means a safe total of 0.7btc of total trade by 25/09/14.

When OC is available in big anmounts between 1-3 Satoshi, I get back in the game.
Even if it gets gelisted I could be reanimated and rebranded when orangecoin shows up again.
And I think in the later future he will.

GreedyJohn pointed out that Oizo's rich list isn't updating, i'll contact him about it.
In the meantime we have another richlist here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/oc/

If you go to https://orangecoins.info/forum, it's listed under services. Sorry, can't update the OP here.

It's easy to fake volume on bittrex. If your worried about it getting delisted just sell coins to your friend and then have your friend sell them back. 2 BTC volume in 1 hour and the coin stays on bittrex. For all we know the coins on bittrex with 50 BTC volume a day are faking 90% of their volume.

I don't see a big deal with getting delisted from bittrex. If OC doesn't have high volume then get it listed on https://cryptoine.com or https://c-cex.com. Both of those exchanges have been working well for me over the last 2 months.

Since OC is POS only it makes it hard to get much consistent volume.

You could buy and sell to yourself as well. Not necessarily needing a friend.

I used to think Bittrex was all that and a bag of chips, but they don't care about the possibility or longevity of a coin -- only the money it can produce while it's listed. So I say screw them and their greed. How much does it cost to keep a coin listed? Can't be that much. With BTC being too spread out among all the 1000+ coins, it's hard to create volume as well. Remember when HOT coins would hit 1000+ btc volume? Now bittrex is lucky to see 300. If they cared about the coins, they'd have fiat:crypto exchanges as well. Meh.
