Confirmation on Mined Blocks: 300
Dedicatedpool has over 300 coinsforeveryone only over 110???
what do you mean? we are @ 300 as well, these are the coins specs (mined confirmation blocks). We can't give blocks before actually get them; no pool can. Nevermind. its changed

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

30 minutes for blocks - how the heck did that happen? What cranked the diff so high?
GPU farms did. http://oc.dedicatedpool.com/index.php?page=dashboard keeps disconnecting and connecting.

KnC ASIC'S.. they are already operating..any SCRYPT coin is as desirable for the non-ASIC miner as pig manure. Don´t waste your time and electricity! Look at users with around 100 MH/s or multiples (100, 200, 300)..they are ASIC users. What will you get with your 4*280 ? Orange peels!!!! Just say NO to SCRYPT ! Let those greedy bastards drown in their own coins!

There's 2.5 GH/s visible on the pools. The total net hashrate might be somewhat higher. Dedicated pool has 2+ GH/s 30 minutes for blocks - how the heck did that happen? What cranked the diff so high?

I've seen guys point 1 gh/s at new coins in the last week...

heh heh. a mini miner like myself went for a wee bit of solomining right from within seconds of the start. was over 300k dif. now its over 10 million. I gave up within seconds. now on dedicated. obviously only big guys can get head start and get a few blocks. think game over for guys with small rigs. Can't distribute coins. all ends up in a few large bags.
I love the icon though.

I tend to agree. Scrypt ASICs and large GPU farms have pretty much made it really tough for the small fries, including myself. I only have 8MH/s, but I'm still able to do pretty well. On whitecoin my 8MH/s mined 75k blocks in the PoW stage. So it's not complete over for the little guy. Anyways, ASICs use less power, less heat, are much more efficient. Nobody is going to continue to buy GPUs anymore. The GPU phase of crypto is done because the profits aren't high enough any more to sustain the cost of power, and the heat over the summer period will be killer for GPUs. x11 will not save GPUs either, again, because of the slim profits. You need to go Scrypt ASIC to stay in this game. However, I still think at least for the next few months you should be fine still to make profit. Just mine coins that you know should do well down the line and you'll make good profits. This game is not longer a "mine and dump" game. You need to mine and hold to wait to see if a coin will rise. http://oc.dedicatedpool.comRyan, dedicatedpool.com support/admin admin@dedicatedpool.com / IRC on freenode ##dedicatedpool
