How? I have old wallet created last year without a seed. I can't import my funds in current wallet. Maybe I need new one with simpler interface.
./simplewallet --wallet-file wallet.binsimplewallet still supports non-deterministic wallets, and they will always be supported.

Wanted to let everyone know that I'm raising money to implement Monero support for Trezor. Here is an excerpt from the post on Monero forums: I'd like to raise at least 500XMR so I could make it happen. Want to beef up your Monero wallet security? Show your support by donating and help make Monero support for Trezor a reality!
Address for donations: 49hGzzV9XtNZKHAe1kNuXkRfhws12ZHipavhffm2gXDXR3aGxiLzt9GRBFPqL6Vgp6hEnpsiT285v5v 4XmrUC93PSTaML5r Escrowed by fluffypony
What I plan on doing: - Modify the Trezor firmware to support generating private keys for Monero & support signing transactions using spend key. - Add Trezor support to simple_wallet command (or create new trezor_wallet utility) If you would like to support this effort but don't have any XMR currently, you can use ShapeShift make a donation in Bitcoin/Doge/etc. Edit: Changed donation address to one escrewed by fluffypony.

This table doesn't report about Minergate separately, but according to ChainRadar, it's operating with 819 KH/s. The entire network is operating with 19 MH/s. http://chainradar.com/xmr/poolsIt seems the major part of network is being operated by unknown pools or just random solo miners (I think the later is the more probable).

Well... Right now MingerGate is pulling around 800 Kh/s, so that would leave the "unknown" at around 9.52 Mh/s (from the 10.32 Mh/s), which would be 51.74% from the total 18.4 Mh/s currently reported by that graph. The "unknown" part would be the total hash not reported by any of the pools that minexmr.com is checking. I don't know if they are checking all the known pools. But, for example, Dwarfpool is not appearing on that graph, and they are currently pulling 2.5 Mh/s, so I would say that they are being accounted as part of the "unknown", which would give a more realistic unknown at around 38%.

How private is Monero? If I am a normal guy, doing a mixin of 10, and I post my transaction id, what analysis can the public find?

The terms are foreign to me. I am not familiar with the technical aspects. Let me rephrase my question, if a analysis expert looked at that transaction, what is the most info that will be shown? Originating IP address, Date/time, A pool of transactions that it was mixed with?

I would send some coins over if this was done, Monero on a trezor would be great. Edit: You might even be trustworthy, but I will wait till someone vouches for you seeing as you have a Newbie account.

After the disappointment (or worse) of the FreeBazaar project, people are going to be understandably more reluctant to give direct donations to even a legitimate project.
Until the crowdfunding features of the Monero forum are up and running I'd suggest finding a trusted escrow to hold the funds and release them upon defined milestones (some could be released at start once a funding goal is achieved).

Honestly, not a big fan of BitcoinTalk. I've been hanging around Monero IRC since I discovered it 2-3 weeks ago. Suggestion to cross-post this here actually came from there. Anyway, feel free to Google me if that gives me some credibility in your eyes - same username everywhere (real life/irc/twitter/github/linkedin/...).

FreeBazaar is alive, and I would venture that pull requests would be welcome. Disappointment will persist until it is usable. I can't speak for atrides, just sayin' what I see.

Latest pull request was 4 days ago -> https://github.com/freebazaar/FreeBazaar/pull/3, so there is still some work going on. I have to agree though that the development is very slow and if I recall correctly Atrides personally said it would only be about 1-2 months work if funding was completed (which nearly was). There may some other causes though why development is going slow, but if so, he should communicate that better in my opinion.
