Like the minimum hardware required to run a full node and the target performance of such configuration.

This is the example he gives for a Bitcoin node:

Quote from: Jameson Lopp - How to Save Bitcoin's Node Network from Centralization
For example, a min spec might look something like this:

    Target hardware resource cost: $200
Target worst case time to validate a block: 10 seconds
    Minimum network I/O: 2 Mb/s
    Minimum disk I/O: 2 Mb/s
    Minimum CPU: 5,000 MIPS
    Minimum RAM: 1 GB

The definition of a "node" is different though. You can indeed run a non-mining Monero node on a Raspberry Pi 1B if you really want to. Total hardware cost: ~$30.00. There are even cheaper options available that are faster too, like the PINE A64 for $15.00. What exactly are you trying to specify?

If you are running a private or a public pool (node-cryptonote-pool or cryptonote-universal-pool) make sure you bind redis to 127.0.0.1 or if you have to bind to an external interface -
set an un-brutable password (by default no password is set and the listening port is binded to all interfaces).

A redis exploit is out that overwrites your authorization_keys file, script kiddie friendly!

For those running the monerodo OS, the bind 127.0.0.1 was commented out during a late debugging session.

This can be edited in /etc/redis/6379.conf .. scroll down and you'll see where the #bind 127.0.0.1 is, just remove the # and save.

then

/etc/init.d/redis_6379 stop
sudo /etc/init.d/redis_6379 start

im currently writing a script for this that will be performed if you login to the MOS.

That didn't take long, what was it like 12 hours?  Not bad for 14k XMR.

Development (and the funding thereof) seems to be happening at an increasing rate! As our community continues to grow so will our collective development and funding resources.

Have a great SuperBowl day guys! Smiley

To you too. I wish they won't run it on a Saturday afternoon in the US, as that makes it the night to Monday for Europe and Africa, which is just very inconvenient. Why not Saturday afternoon? Sad

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. Idunno?

OK, Too lazy to setup irc for tiperino, So any Seahawk fan that I trust wants to bet with me on superbowl?

I have 700 XMR and will put it on my pats straight up. No lines no gambling adjustments just straight up winner take all.

Have a great SuperBowl day guys! Smiley

well I don't know much about handegg, but I'd be willing to bet 100XMR on the seahawks  Cool

deal?

Well I don't know you but your a hero member with no neg so I don't see why I can't take your word.

Your on, GL and Just an FYI, I called Wilson as a most underrated probable great in his rookie year (When everyone else was Keapernick crazy) because he's one smart bastard! Cheesy

gonna be a great game.

Anyone else speak up soon as I'll be leaving in an hour or so.

600 XMR left

ok, cool. gl dude!  Smiley

btw. since I'm in germany don't be surprised if I won't be online directly after the game, pretty sure I'll fall asleep while watching.

I'll be at casino for who knows how long so I will take awhile to pay as well. I'll be back sometime between tonight and Friday depending on how the Poker tables are treating me. Cheesy

congrats dude!  Cool shall I use the address in your signature to send the funds too?

What a sick ending! did you watch it? I'll double check my address when I get home. It may be earlier rather than later, a guy hit a straight flush on me for 2k then i lost a ton on set over set. Smiley

Money line has Denver +195 and Carolina -220, so I'm willing to bet 50 XMR that the Broncos win v. your 100 XMR that the Panthers win. Gotta let me know before kickoff if you wanna bet...

Hmmm, alright, you got it. I don't have a rooting interest, but I do have hunch that Manning is gonna go out on top. May the best Monerito win.

Also, if I don't respond after the game, don't be alarmed, I may be slightly to severely intoxicated. I'll get in touch by tomorrow evening to send you 75 XMR or send address for you to send 100 XMR Smiley
