Hello. Can anybody advise / help out this guy? I don't know too much of XMR to be of real help...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.msg16010610#msg16010610
That was me.  I just have to wait for Poloniex to fix their xmr wallet.
I wanted to have proof they got the coins, but it's pointless.  The deposit shows on my polo deposit history as unconfirmed, so they already acknowledged the deposit, in a way.  But they are taking forever to credit it to my account.   They froze their xmr wallet just a few minutes after I made the deposit, so my coins are stuck nowhere.
Nine and a half hours.  They still haven't responded to my ticket.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

That's for Nvidia (as it clearly says) not AMD.

AMD open source miner is here https://github.com/wolf9466/wolf-xmr-miner/  but I've made several fixes to that, which you can find here https://github.com/hyc/wolf-xmr-miner/tree/daemon

Can you provide Windows binaries? Are there any known issues when building for windows?

Comments like this make me sad. Please educate yourself so you can buy some if it does dump and then you wont have to be left out of the future. Read the white paper. Thats what I did so long ago and I was so impressed I bought a small pile right away.

What is transfer mixin_count i must use to send monero on poloniex? 6?

Only need to specify the address and payment id.

Example:
transfer <address> <amount> <payment_id>

The default mixin count of 4 will be used if you do not specify mixin.

Why is there only close to 200k xmr on the polo sell side while the overall supply is over 12 million Huh
Bittrex has 5000 xmr.

That's kinda weird after a 100% rise.

Because people are wary of selling too early with this huge news about darkweb markets.

I'm shorting though.

Last time offering the Hungary node before I let it die.

It's only $4 a month.
I'm more than willing to pay the $4 a month, but how much computer expertise is required?  I can just barely do simple command line stuff.

PPL buy and hold to wait for higher price, when the dark market is ready, the price will be a new level.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

Can we please restrict price and trading related topics to the speculation thread?  People reading that thread actually care about the topic.  Here, you are just interfering with the efforts of those who want to learn about aspects of the technology and community of Monero.

bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.new#new  invites you.

I just handed it back to bitebits, PM him. Great guy, he'll work with you.
