Question regarding hash functions: In the mininero implementation, there is a reference to a , now is this equivalent to the reference Monero in the source? Also, this is SHA512 not SHA3-512 right, which is different. It is not equivalent, no. It seems to only be in the oldMiniNero.py file as well. SHA512 is the default for EdDSA, which Monero's crypto is based on (using Keccak for the hashing algorithm instead). So the "Hash_to_Scalar" function should use Keccak instead and not SHA512?

I don't see a hash_to_scalar function that uses sha512 in that repo. Where are you seeing it?

Its main emission curve will issue about 18.4 million coins to be mined in approximately 8 years.[8] After that, a "tail emission" will create a sub-1% perpetual inflation to prevent the lack of incentives for miners once a currency is not mineable anymore.[9] The emission uses a smoothly decreasing reward with no block halving (any block generates a bit less moneroj than the previous one). The proof-of-work algorithm, CryptoNight, is AES-intensive and "memory heavy", which significantly reduces the advantage of GPU over CPU.

That is a decentralized exchange. @xxxgoodgirls It at least does run on a ARM7 of the Raspberry PI 2 Model B ( https://getmonero.org/downloads/).

Is this true that you can send XMR to a BTC address from XMR wallet?
Can DASH connect to TOR like XMR?
What are some benefits of XMR over DASH?

If you are a short term investor then maybe you will lose. I'd hold all XMR right now as it is only going to increase over time. If I had had more funds available back when XMR was .20¢ US I would have bought more then. I'm still buying now plus mining. But in a years time it has gained plenty and a year is not that long a time for good growth. Monero will continue to gain over the next few years IMO. I'm no whale but have managed to build a good long term investment base. This whole conversation is probably best talked about on the speculation thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.18580
