I'm trying on Debian right now but im not sure if its working or not... I'm at the "make" part now:

Project MESSAGE: Building without IPv6 support
Project MESSAGE: Building with UPNP supportProject MESSAGE: Building without IPv6 supportmake: Warning: File 'jackpotcoin-qt.pro' has modification time 441 s in the future
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4/bin/qmake -o Makefile jackpotcoin-qt.pro
Project MESSAGE: Building with UPNP support
Project MESSAGE: Building without IPv6 support

So I guess I will see in 441 seconds from now if it works or back to try again Smiley ... How did you manage to install all the old libs and stuff needed?

I have a general understanding of Jackpotcoin, a very characteristic coin. This coin has some good innovations and is a mixed POW / POS coin using a variety of different algorithms.

My wallet is crashing as well.16gb RAM , Ryzen 5,  Is there any posibility to use just some console wallet for recreating new wallet file without transactions?
Or anybody recompiled wallet for linux?

I think I have found a way to access my JPC... I have over 100k transaction in my wallet so the client gets so slow its impossible to use the client or it simply crash.

How ever I found a way to move the coins to a NEW wallet with a NEW address.

Will that destroy my staking/minting since the coins I have is OLD most from 2014... and I assume they will become brand new. Does that affect my staking in some way?

I might have a solution, just need to clarify in my post above and then try if it works I'll write a guide how I did it.

would it be possible for you to send the blockchain files to me since it sounds like you have an up to date blockchain? Smiley Google drive or anything else would work fine.

things are not going like I want them to... jackpotcoin-qt.exe keeps crashing doesnt matter what I do... so now I'm trying with the Daemon, jackpotcoind.exe ... it seem to work and it downloads all blockchain etc... however I'm supposed to be able to send commands to the daemon but how?

I start it in a regular command prompt window but after it has read the blockchain it doesnt give me a way to enter commands. Anyone know how to use it in a proper way or can direct me to some documenation?

G:\JackpotCoin>jackpotcoind.exe -conf=G:\JackpotCoin\JackpotCoin.conf -datadir=G:\JackpotCoin

My wallet is over 50MB and on Windows wallet I couldn't run it, always crashing.
I have tried to install virtual machine with ubuntu and launch Linux wallet, then copy blockchain from alst year, sync and now it is working / staking as well.
So Linux Wallet is working. I recommend to use it.

It is not a solution, but so far ...

If anybody can fix a Windows wallet it would be really great.

There were suggested some millions of JPC for Fix. Then let's get JPC back to some Exchange.

If the miners want a healthy coin, they also need cheap electricity to make more money, otherwise the cost is too high.

After a lot of testing and some more testing I finally got access to my JPC accounts on windows 10. How ever my accounts has so many transactions that both the QT and the Daemon crashes when I start them... but when I divided my accounts in 3 parts and imported them into 3 different wallet files it worked from the Daemon (jackpotcoind.exe) and I can send commands to it, see my balance etc..

I haven't managed to get it working on Linux yet though but I will try some more there.

Anyway, I'm willing to put in some BTC and millions of JPC to get JPC going again. We need a working wallet for Windows, Mac and Linux. A wallet we can count on to start as expected.

Who else is in?
Where can we find a developer?
