I really like the concept of this coin.

Setting up pool right now.

cudos if you manage it. We didnt.

If you make it, would be great if you share your stratum config.

As I understand, dev with someone is testing pool on http://www.jackpotcoin.info/MPOS/public/ and it allready found 10 blocks. Am I wrong? Why not to use it's stratum?

Nice so we have a pool Smiley

Bounties 1.5M for a better new logo. 2M for an wallet icon set consistent with the new logo.

Reminder, 3 first working pools will receive 2M each.

At last found 2 blocks mining solo after 7h :O

And even on WinXP getting an error from time to time. But wallet works after that error.

Maybe the same problem makes QT freeze on Vista64?

How is the superblock awarded in a pool? Does it go to the block finder or is it spread proportionally amongst shares in the round?

How is the superblock awarded in a pool? Does it go to the block finder or is it spread proportionally amongst shares in the round?

I'd guess it should be divided based on share?

From what I understand this is what will happen: the finder wallet address will get 100K coins as a normal block, when the next block found, it will confirm that the previous block is a super block, the differentce (superblock payout aka jackpot - 100K) will be sent to the same address that received the previous block, and finder of the next block receives 100K. This ensures that it is the true randomness, so no one can based on the previous hash and get the superblock.

And this is how it looks when you wallet is getting stuck and you mine your own chain again and again..... DAFUQ !

You can write script to close and restart the wallet and then automate it with a scheduled task. First write a batch file to open the wallet. Name it wallet_restart.bat or something:

Code:
@echo off

:: clears the screen
cls

:: Closes the wallet if already running. Enter your Wallet process name below.
tskill "JackpotCoin-Qt"

:: pauses restart for 1 seconds
PING 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 1000 >NUL

:: starts the Wallet (Use the correct path to your wallet)
start "" "C:\Wallets\JackpotCoin-qt\jackpotcoin-qt.exe" -server

Write a vbs script to open the batch file without opening a command prompt window. Name it wallet_restart_no_bat_window.vbs:

Code:
Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WshShell.Run chr(34) & "C:\Wallets\wallet_restart.bat" & Chr(34), 0
Set WshShell = Nothing

You can then schedule a task to run wallet_restart_no_bat_window.vbs every 5 minutes or so.

Thank you.

I will do that, nice idea / workaround.

Neverless: I would find it way better if the coindevs would fix some things with the coin asap.

ignore the fucking idiots here..
there is not a damn thing wrong and every comment you have made show me your have no idea what your doing or what is going on..
the diff is low you found some blocks.. that's it lol
..be happy
the end.

and relax lol

oh and stake is like 100 coins roughly per 100k staked based on percentage mentioned in op's post
and block reward is 100,000 so if you got that it means you got a block Wink

i have seen 1 single guy here report a real problem the rest of you are confused noobs lol
and sadly you guys aren't smart enough to realize you are at an extremely good advantage on this coin right now and are quitting because of your own confusion.
the more of you leave the more the diff drop and the more people start finding blocks Smiley
and the more that happen the more you noobs think something is wrong hahah
i have found soooo many more blocks today and i have been fucking laughin' LOL

If you have any questions just ask guys  Roll Eyes

And who the fuck are you ? Calling me that I have no idea ?

The wallet stops syncing while running and that is NOT A PROBLEM ?

The coin has a self made new algo that no "normal" pool can support. Not a problem ?

Im mining 12h into a stuck wallet, even the getmininginfo shows real time and date but its 3000 blocks behind. Not a problem ?

Im finding, as shown in the screenshot, 5 blocks which are useless cause on own chain, cause wallet stuck again ? Sure not a problem either.

And Im talking BS here......

Just ignore him, he mouths off constantly and is rude to everyone.

He bitches about people who give him free code to mine with.

The sooner you learn to ignore his comments the better off you will be.

i did not notice you said the wallet is freezing on you.. it's work perfectly fine for me.
but i highlighted the variety of other comments you made showing you had no clue what is going on
and sorry "who i am" has no bearing what so ever on facts.. facts are facts.
and the facts are what i said earlier..

try checking your mining with the proper miner.. your wallet may be going crazy because your using an old one
the dev said update them both.. i could totally see that being a possible problem.

your a noob buddy and i can tell i have been doing this for some time lol

my browser just stuttered and my cpu usage spiked up to 100%
and i know damn well what was causing it too.. it's called the wallet syncing lol
and it happens to the other 80 odd wallets i have installed right now over the last year or so..
notice how i said earlier i was CPU mining with 6 of 8 threads available ? i am leaving 2 free for the wallet and gpu miner..
if you don't your going to have a lot of problems..
what i just said is duh shit.. we all know this already and if you don't your a noob sorry but it's true haha
hence why is aid ask questions Wink

are you mining ? then provide the details for that also.. don't just sit there and say the wallet is broken.
i don't think based on your previous comments here on this specific topic that you are qualified to make that determination.
i think your assertion is false bud lol

edit:
i seen your picture which why i commented in the first place guy..
your found some blocks.. a bunch in a row.. so fucking what ?
i told you why that happened and you don't believe me i guess.. the diff dropped and WE ALL GOT BLOCKS fast consecutively.
i had a bunch like that too.. wtf do think happens when the diff goes from 100 to 3 ?
you come here and scream the wallet is broken i guess lol

Devs, I'm panicking as almost all my coins are gone.  Cry
On the previous wallet, I had about 25 million which I sent to Allcrypt. I ended up sending the funds back to the newly updated wallet and it arrived and confirmed shortly after. This was all done on the newest wallet version and prior to block 7000. Transaction id: b17623602642c8cecf947efbbcf5f73c19b3a2905bf895ae4fcc509ea4c29872

This is where the problem begins:
-I check the wallet this morning and the balance was accurate but it wouldn't fully sync so I backed my wallet up and deleted the appdata (except wallet and .conf) to sync new chain.
-Once this was done, the 25 million showed up in the stake balance and the wallet wouldn't sync entirely:

I deleted the jackpot.conf this time hoping this would help but now this is all I have in my balance (5 million):
In addition, I sadly had a couple million in another wallet that are now lost as well, I'm honestly devastated as this is the most I've ever had of a coin and I don't understand how this could happen. I would greatly appreciate anyone helping me with this problem.

All that remains is this:

Thanks for your time,
Adam

are you bragging or whining ?

what for sure is that the 25M you bought won't disappear.
delete the blockchain and peers.dat and reload it from the beginning (do not delete wallet.dat)
don't touch the conf file (make sure it uses the correct node)

If you're referring to my post, I'm not quite sure how that could be construed as bragging? I've lost almost all of the coins I've been mining and I'm asking for assistance. Please do not berate me over trying to assess the situation. I was merely looking for input from the developers and letting people know there is an issue with the blockchain.
