Do you have the plot for random number with jackpot Zone versus Time since last jackpot (or first block here) ? Just to see how this is converging

no conf file -shaders your_number_shaders -I 20 -g 1 (the card needs to be in good moods too ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) had variation of 1MHash/s with the exact same setting)

Mine seem to be moody then. I basically had the same settings minus the shaders part, didn't help when I added it - so still 2.1mh/s.

hashharder = p2pool cloudminers = mpos
most ppl don't even bother installing a wallet for a new coin, they just jump to the standard pools and use them to collect coins, then send them to the exchange. that's why it's unlikely that it will even out. sending micro-transactions from p2pools to exchanges is not recommanded, so many ppl stick with mpos based pools.
Actually I don't understand why the guy with 200MHash/s is on a pool (I would solomine, if I had such hashrate) yup it's common knowledge that is the smart thing to do.. high hash rates = solo mine. also did you guys go vote ? BTER = new coin to add.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502363.0please go post and tell them to add JPC to the POLL !!! edit: and difficulty ? lol { "blocks" : 16973, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 45.86625841, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 15350188039, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
Your understanding of a smart decision is a bit skewed. Solomining would make sense if you purely look at the percentage kept instead of the increased probability of finding it. My friend is the whale mining on cloudminers and his mentality was that it would be more beneficial to increase your chances of finding the lotto rather than keeping all of it with the lowered probability of finding it.

Yesterday, I was running at 3.1. I had to restart; after that the best I was able to achieve was 2.4... (I had similar problem when the algo was only keccak... so it has something to do with the keccak layer)

Random Number Distribution for 6 daysFor jackpot, at each pow we generate a random number from 1-25200, if the number is between 15001 and 15010 (inclusive), then the pow will hit the jackpot. This is 10/25200 = 1/2520 chance, which corresponds to 1 in 3.5 days on average (720 x 3.5 = 2520) This graph shows the generated random number distribution since launch Random Number with Jackpot ZoneThe colored area is the jackpot zone, if the random number is inside this area, it triggers the Jackpot. As you can see, it hasn't happened so far (at the time of this writing). If nobody gets the prize, this zone will be expanded till somebody hits the jackpot. This graph shows the Jackpot zone detail ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fjackpotcoin.info%2Fimgs%2FIMG_02052014_165020.png&t=663&c=9fx8Ozm1lkN56g) Nice diagrams, we almost hit the jackpot at one time (at pow=2500)

Once this was resolved he decided to join a pool with half the hashing power and after a night of sub 20 blocks found with the 100+ mhash solo, he switched it all to the pool. Stick to what you know, I think he'll manage without your speculation. Anyways, I hope christian finds it as he was generous enough to share the revised ccminer the day he discovered it.
