This original post was posted on Ddengle.com, Popular Korean Bitcoin Forum, by user named Atomrigs.
The post points out many superior advantages of Jackpot coin. I thought it was very informative and educational, so I’ve decided to translate it and post it here on Bitcointalk.

https://www.ddengle.com/board_trading/688995

1)   Compared to Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Darkcoin, Jackpot transaction confirmation time is extremely fast. If Bitcoin is 1G phone, Jackpot is 4G LTE speed. It is fast enough to be used in everyday life transaction without any inconvenience.

2)   Jackpot hash Algorithm is superior compared to X11, GPU runs cooler and more effectively saving miners electricity cost

3)   Not only it’s effective mining with AMD, it maximizes the effectiveness of Nvidia cards which has been ignored by many coins until now. This opens up huge potential for new miners (Gamers) to come in without having to change their cards to AMD.

4)   It also maximizes the effectiveness of CPU mining. Ratio of CPU vs GPU mining is much more favorable to CPU miners when you compare it to other coins.

5)   It is very resistant to future ASIC miner. In reality, Jackpot coin’s POW mining will be most likely be over (roughly about 1 year from now) by the time anyone develops ASIC miner for Jackpot coin.

6)   For the first time, Jackpot has separate Proof of Work (POW) and Proof of Stake (POS) chains. Jackpot has maximized their effectiveness by separating them, yet complimenting each other.

7)   POS yields about 0.1% of interest every 24 hours. This rewards early miners holding the coins against inflation. Also it promotes holding their coins instead of dumping them immediately.

8 )   Miners have chance to win potentially huge Jackpot amount and become rich!! The Jackpot is also completely randomized so that big pools or farmers cannot take advantage of flawed coding and cherry pick the Jackpot block. This gives smaller miners better chance of winning the Jackpot.

9)   The developers are actively involved with future developments of the coins and maintaining active community involvement.

10)   The community is also actively involved in Jackpot coin’s development. Other developers not related to Jackpot coin are developing CPU miners and other improvements for more effective mining of Jackpot coin.

11)   Miners are more prone to holding their coins rather than dumping it immediately for Bitcoin. Combined effect of interest staking and high confidence in coins future value will actually make the coin more valuable. Value is what everyone perceive it to be, and Jackpot coins perceived value by the supporting community is much higher than its current price.

12)   JPCdice.com is fairly new site, it is less than 2 weeks old, and it is quickly becoming popular gambling site. Many miners are spending their mined coins.

13)   There are many bounties and giveaways by the developers, which helps to further activate the community’s interest.

14)   Currently Jackpot coin is not heavily marketed and current rise in interest is purely driven by community support. This in turn translates in huge potential growth in future when Jackpot coin becomes more well known.

Hope this summary helps new comers and Thank you Atomrigs for your insightful thoughts on Jackpot coin.

Great post!

+100

just excellent ...  Cool I like to spot winners and have luck with them, you know the jackpot idea is great, because it attracts miners! its like a distributed casino... once this coin hits mainstream... interesting things will happen

Very nice! We should be on a bigger exchange like cryptsy or mintpal!

Very nice! We should be on a bigger exchange like cryptsy or mintpal!

We do so love the "AllCrypt sucks they are so small" from the very same people who are the first to run off and ENSURE that we stay small. Thanks for the support getting your coin off the ground, cant wait for the jump ship.

Just... some people prefer to wait in line and shop at Wal Mart to save $2. Can't do anything about that.

The diff spikes are when it switches from PoS to PoW, and I know that makes the net hashrate hard to calculate also.

I love allcrypt. Super fast performance, low fees, very functional interface and features. Of course though, people will flock to higher volumes and prettier interfaces. Allcrypt works well for me, but if I was playing with bigger numbers in BTC, I'd simply NEED thicker buy/sell orders. It's not about being good or bad.

Hell, I regularly use about 5 different exchanges simply because prices and volumes will vary.

That all being said I'll be perfectly happy keeping allcrypt as the king of JPC exchanges.  Thanks for getting the coin on early and letting it soar! Smiley
