[ANN][JPC]MAKE JACKPOTCOIN GREAT AGAIN!

I have an idea that should raise awareness and exposure of our coin here guys !

But it will require the Dev / OP ..and all of you who come to this topic on a regular basis.

so can i get all of your cooperation and the dev's attention please ?

i will post my super simple idea if the dev responds to this comment.
i am not proposing any change to the coin in ANY way !
just a clever way to change something so we can get a lot more well known with almost no change in our daily behavior.

When i see this topic CARBONCOIN: The Completely Carbon Neutral Cryptocurrency
I can see clearly these guys are deliberately bumping it keeping it on page one 24/7
and it's clearly an ANN topic by looking at it ..LOCATED in the Main section instead of the ANN section.
But they made sure to leave out the ANN part in the topic title.
A clever little game that i think results in far more public exposure that it does having the main topic sitting the ANN sea of crap.
so..
Why can't we do the same if their doing it and numerous other coins ?
All we would have to do i think is lock this topic for now and copy the same type of info that is on the Carbon Coin topic,
and then instead of us talking on this topic we can start all going to the other topic instead located in the Main section.
Whey should we let a huge pile of these devs exploit things to their advantage while we sit here in total obscurity ?

So what do you guys all think ?
Do you all see why i think it would be a lot more exposure for JPC ?
Would you guys get on board a new topic instead ?
And would the dev lock this topic to force people over to the other topic ? hmmm ?

Seriously why should all these other coins be able to exploit an advantage hardcore for massive public exposure while we sit in the dark ?
I say let's do what the other guys do !

What we really need for this coin is legitimate uses for it. Online Casinos that transact in JPC, JPC betting sites, JPC to fiat exchanges and organized JPC dontations to legitimate charities and causes. Thats how you garner interest. Not fudging your viewing audience on some ANN thread.

- it has the same uses as pretty much any other coin so what more do you want ? bearing in mind niche-coins are a bs gimmick.. Potcoin ? lol
- there is online casino's go to JPCDice ?
- i don't see how giving donations is going to really add any popularity to this coin.. another crypto-gimmick i figure.. See Carbon coin  

and no one is saying fudge anything..
if the norm is what i said then we should do the norm too.. This forum is what makes coins popular !
if i started a site right now called www.mysuperdonationcoin.com and i never posted about it here at Bitcointalk how popular you think it's going too be ?
this stuff is competitive and if LOTS of other guys are using an edge to their advantage then we should too i think !

but it may not hurt to simply say hey.. XYZ site can you guys check out the ANN topic
and say..

- We are popular *enough
- We have some innovation on the coin
- we have some talented hard working supportive devs at the helm
- We have a skilled community of supporters.

and the most important is.. it's a FUN coin !

this coin has turned out to be one of the most fun coins i have ever gotten involved with.

and one of the biggest positives to me was the fact that CPU mining on this coin during it's launch was surprisingly effective.
for a long time after launch i ran a CPU i7 4770k and a Radeon 7950 mining and i got about 520kh/s on the CPU and about 2.1 MH/s on the GPU.
that should impress peoples balls off !
how that didn't catch on i have no damn idea at all ..weird !

note: right now i am only cpu mining.

and then from there we got the Jackpot itself.. lots of great pools.. a fast and supportive dev fixing any bugs
we got the first coin to have separate algos' for POS and POW.. a dev that was willing to give a bounty for damn near anything.. practically giving the coins away
we also have stuff like gambling sites..

like WTF ?
what more do people want ?  LOL
cheap coin prices ? done.. go buy em up and stake em

needs an anonymous coin gimmick ? or maybe the dev should start lying about planting tree's ?
or maybe he should make it scrypt so it can be raped by ASICS and create waaaay more heat (JPC mining is cooler temp wise than scrypt or x11 etc)

only thing the dev may want to consider is a stock split of sorts maybe..
the amount of total coins seems to be the primary complaint i have heard about this coin.

Stake weight is also important.

If you do not have at least 700.000 mature coins, do not expect your first stake after 24 hours. It will take longer, depend on your weight. If your weight stake is 1 then you have small amount of mature coins.

How much coins do you possess?

Over 1 mil. Finally staking... according to the wallet, only 24,560 days for first reward! Guess I will have to leave this wallet to my daughter in my will.

Anyway that counter is not reliable. When you will boost your stash to 2+mio coins you will get reward every hour according to the counter

Can any of the block explorers create an API with block_reward? I have been trying for ages to calculate a proper formula of reward changes. Each time it changes differently.

100000 * 0.90**( ( stats.last.try(:blocks).to_f - 14300 ) / 35280 ).floor - this is now one step ahead. I was using it without "14300" before, then it was one step behind...

Not sure locking this thread is a good idea, because it's where one would expect to find the official thread. However, you're right, it's difficult to stand out from the crowd here, so having another thread in the main Altcoin section maintained by the community would be a good additional exposure. So if you wish to create another thread and feed it regularly, don't hesitate to. To all posters there, be sure to have your JPC address in your signature so we can reward you occasionally.

some people might have gotten caught up on my tone of it by the whole exploiting things angle talk..
but in reality i am just pointing out what i seen.. and that is people using that other Main forum section VERY effectively to promote and discuss their coin.
i bet if we deliberately tried to create topic for nothing but advertising then the mods would allow it.
BUT.. that is NOT what i am suggesting.
What i meant is an alternative meeting place of sorts or an additional one where we can discuss Jackpot Coin matters in a general non specific way.
..in a more highly visible place.

I guess locking this topic would be a bad idea now that i think about it..
we just have to hope a new one catches on in main and people actually go to it regularly.
