hi,

with the latest wallet i am getting some mined blocks transactions popups in the task bar, even i do not see any in the transaction list.
what is going on guys?

this:
CHANGELOG
V 1.4
Addtional Notes
 (1) Unconfirmed transaction are no longer be listed in the transaction windows. (requires at least 1 confirmation)
  (2) Any orphans or unconfirmed information will be hidden

thank you man... how can i unhide those orphans?

I think you can't. There is no such option or command in wallet.
Anyway why you need that. All it can do is draining your cpu power, especially if you have huge amount of transactions.

well i need to see the orphans for stats.
if the orphans rate is too high i would stop mining JPC and switch to other coin as it means the majority of JPC network hashpower is pbbly concetrated in one place which is convicing others that its hashes are the correct ones and i wont waste my hashpower for corrupted network Wink

edit:
it is never good if devs are hiding some info from others!
i will mine other coin until the orphans are possible to see once again.

i bet the log file would suit your purpose just fine like on every other coin..
and actually would most likely tell you more info that what ever the GUI is saying anyway.

and corrupted network hashing ?? what ?
where is this coming from ?
you sound like this is some kind of epidemic across the crypto world ..first i ever heard about it lol
sounds to me like your making something out of nothing..
i started mining this soon after release and i got like 1 or 2 orphans total so no there is no big problem here with JPC i think.
If there was a problem at least 2 people would be talking about i think Wink

anyway search in your debuglog file for "ORPHAN BLOCK"

and i hope i don't have to explain about pools vs solo mining lol

I have over 250000 coins in my wallet. Since I did the mandatory update, I received a stake of 8 jpc a almost 3 days a ago and then nothing since. Is this normal?

I think it is. I got no stake at all with that amount. My first stake was at approx. 700000

happy staking

I've been staking every day since POS was fixed. My coins are pretty old and have a lot of weight though.  Just buy more coins and you'll get more staking Cheesy

Jackpotcoin Mining Pool Hub
http://jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com

Just won jackpot again!
Triple jackpot consecutively!

http://explorer.jpcpal.com/block.php?height=474106
Distributed 2635350.004894 JPC to miners who contributed finding block 474105.
50% to block finder and 50% to rest of miners proportionally.

Happy Mining!

Been trying to mine on this pool but my miners never gets connect to this pool damn that sucks...

Can you tell me your id? what server and port did you connect?
What text is shown on miner program?

I have never heard this kind of problem though.

I do had similar problem with the pool
As i did not have time to look into the matter untill today.
For this kinda problems i often blame firewalls/av products and ofcourse often stupidity/miss typing of myself
I opened up my firewall from bitdefender and after i made a new rule to allow public access to and from the pool at port : 20484
Poof there we go Cheesy
So check firewall and settings before anything else
If you need help just yell and some of us will try to help you
miner rudy.amd and get waiting to pool to submitr work

nice to see Mining Pool Hub getting some jackpots recently.. it's the last pool i'm on these days.
i was running more hardware before so i am down to one or two miners (both cpu's)
and what i did before was i tried to stick different workers on different pools to even it out as much as i could
but i have always liked keeping a miner on my favorite pool "Mining Pool Hub".

maybe spreading it out won't make much difference with earnings when it comes to which one wins the pot
BUT at least it's a good idea for the health of the network (spreading your hash around)

so what do you all think about spreading workers around to get in on the jackpot's being won by pools ?
do you guys think it evens out and don't make much difference ?

well i am not good with log files, but seems to me there is no timestamp for orphan blocks, also seems to me there are all the orphaned blocks, not only mine.

pools are for pussies and communists, so i have my picture and you do not have to go that way indeed Wink

if you have low orhpan rate, i would like to have your nodes, my nodes sux pbbly as i have normally about 30% orphan rate (including stakes of course) Wink

Hope when it gets to CW that it doesn't have a huge affect on the profitability. Not mining JPC now but from what I remember it has decent profitability.

Profitability is pretty luke warm at the moment. All the big bag holders and staking their millions of coins for the next wave. I think this will bring some positive attention.

Dwarfpool shows that (http://dwarfpool.com/jpc)

Hashrate total 6429 mhs
Pool 8269.91 mhs
Difficulty 223.1

And miningpoolhub has 3.8G pool hash
http://jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

What is Dwarf's pool hash rate currently?
And what is the total net hash?
If I calculate the the total net hash from Difficulty 223.1, is it accurate?

For most of other PoW coins,
you can get a total net hash estimate from this formula,

Estimated hash rate = Difficulty * 4295032833.0 / PoW Block Time(seconds)
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Difficulty

If you apply this to JPC,

Estimated hash rate =  223.1 * 4295032833.0 / 120 = 8053186562 = 8053M
