Jackpot Pool Hash Distribution

dwarf       8190
snow.eatuo    0
hash@me     800
minep.it       0
hashharder   134
cloudminers   4
miningpoolhub 3683
Total      12811 M/s

Even though we include some solo mining, dwarf's hash rate seems to over 50% of the total net hash.
We need to distribute hash power again.

@JackpotCoin, please change the order of the pool list on the first page.
But don't put  0 hash pools on the top though.

Still I am not sure how we can calculate the accurate net hash estimate.
I know Dwarf' calc is wrong.

Can Dwarf really have that much % of total hash when they have only found 2 of the last 50 blocks? (as of when I just looked)

Are people solo mining again and getting blocks when the diff is low?

There has to be something else out there finding the blocks because 75% of the network hash would find more %

Just my thoughts...

Dwarf stats might be messed up. They show more pool hash than net hash. 7.81 Gh/s

And Mining Pool Hub shows 3.72 Gh/s of the 7.36 Gh/s total network. Also Mining Pool Hub shows twicw as many workers (I believe they hit the last 3 in a row.)

I could be wrong on all that though.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Dwarf found more than 50% of the last 50 blocks. Their hash rate stats seems correct, but the net hash is very inaccurate.

PoW Block Finders Distribution

I analyzed the recent 10,000 PoW blocks by reward receivers' address.

Starting block:  449135   time: 1405946068 (2014-07-21 08:34:28)

Ending blcok:    505716   time: 1407001485 (2014-08-02 13:44:45)

Total PoW Blocks: 10,000

Total Seconds: 1055417 seconds

Seconds per PoW Blocks: 105.54 Sec
(It seems shorter than the 120 sec specification, but maybe due to the previous PoS bug)

I analyzed the recent 10,000 PoW blocks by reward receivers' address.

Starting block:  449135   time: 1405946068 (2014-07-21 08:34:28)

Ending blcok:    505716   time: 1407001485 (2014-08-02 13:44:45)

Total PoW Blocks: 10,000

Total Seconds: 1055417 seconds

Thanks for looking into it... I guess the 'last 50' does include PoS blocks, and that is why it seems so few...

I haven't thought about the difference between PoS and PoW in this aspect before, but does/or can the PoS blocks be used to protect the network from the downfalls of the high hashrate at a single site?

I can't see everyone switching away from Dwarf right now with the jackpot climbing, but I will switch when the jackpot hits to spread things back out.

To me the funniest part of this conversations is remembering back to when Dwarf opened up for JPC and I had to tell people why I love their system and nobody wanted to move at the time... now it seems everyone is there.
