I think he means the Jackpot value, not his a actual funds. His funds are probably more...

My understanding is that once the jackpot reaches max value (1000x normal) it has 24 hours to be found.  If it is not found, the chance of it being found increases with each block until it is found.  It then resets to its starting value of 10x normal.
