WOW. I am surprised that the price hasn't plummented after this jackpot was hit.

Last time we had a jackpot this big, it ended up crashing the price of JPC/BTC

just shows we have a stable group of supporters.
i am sure way back we had a lot more people who showed up just too take the pot and dump it and run.

and thanks to Zuludrag for the reply.

when it comes to coins i have been impressed with the sub-community of sorts we have on this one.
i also hate to call us a "community" but you know what i mean lol

why ? we have stable supporters and a dev that did not bail on us.
and we are understanding and patient with the dev here.. as in we don't need him posting non stop to reassure us he didn't leave.
nice to see our community give him some breathing room and space to live his life and not have us all panic sell because the dev did not comment for a while LOL

then we have some incredibly skilled pool operators and misc services that have stepped up with support.
Allcrypt won't be forgotten i think..
Still one of my favorite exchanges Smiley
with such skilled people supporting this coin it's more likely to attract newer guys and i hope they do so they can have fun with the coin.
not because i want to dump my bag on them and run lol
I hope news guy pop up on this coin and have fun too like i have said all along from the start of JPC.
Gambling sites, trading.. jackpot winning.. various different miners etc etc a lot going on with this coin !

i even bought more the other day too.. cheap prices !

It is on the first page.

Superblock payout (aka the jackpot) will starts at 10X normal block payout, and grows parabolically when the distance with last superblock increases. The average interval between superblocks will be 3.5 days. The payout starts at 10X normal payout, grows to 100X at 3.5 days, and then grows to 1000X at 7 days (if the superblock not triggered). After 7 days, the payout will stay at 1000X, but at the end of the 8th day if still no superblock is triggered by the random number, the system will gradually increase the chance for a superblock until a 1000x superblock is triggered.

Way better to stake ~11mn coins than to just dump them.

Can somebody tell me if I can win a jackpot because I am only staking and not mining?? People who are only staking do they have a chance of winning Jackpot??
No, you can not win jackpot with staking, b'cos POW(mining) has superblocks not POS(staking).
So if you would like to get some, you're welcome to mine JPC in one of several great pools.
Hi guys, so if i am not earning jackpot just by staking but only earning staking interest so can somebody tell me why should i continue to hold and stake my 2.8 million JPC coin?? What are other features / future features of this coin when compared to other coins?? I tried to find on page one but cannot find any info or maybe I did not understand!!!

Dev, can you shuffle pool list order?

Dwarfpool is the biggest and I don't think it must be listed at the top.
MiningPoolHub was the biggest and helped hashes spread for a while and it's not the biggest.

I don't mean to say that our pool must be at the top but to shuffle would be better time to time.

what  if any cyptocoin is worth mining anymore..Huh? anyone got any leads? not worth the electric anymore

hope prices go up..

don't mine to dump and make bitcoin.. pick a coin you want to support.

it's not profitable because too many people are asking what you just did.

far too many guys hanging around looking for something to mine (anything) to sell off for profit.
and that is not what this is suppose to be about in the first place.
and it's supply and demand at work combined with higher difficulties of older coins.
too many people dumping means prices are low..
and that means you can buy the coins you want to SUPPORT cheap (such as JackpotCoin)

that is about it really.. nothing more to it.

I'm having issues trying to get coins from my wallet to transfer out. Here is the block chain showing what is in the wallet...

http://explorer.jpcpal.com/address.php?address=JXmV69c2hx67QafKgSqBNDF51ZzkcqLnV5

I had the Linux wallet running and tried to transfer the full funds to my Mintpal wallet. After hitting the send button, my wallet balance showed as 0. However, the transaction didn't go through to Mintpal and the blockchain still shows the funds being in my wallet.

I copied the wallet dat and downloaded a new wallet QT on my Windows machine. After spending 12 hours downloading the blockchain, my balance showed in this wallet as it should. I have now attempted to transfer the funds from the Windows wallet and they have disappeared into thin air again.

The Windows wallet now shows as having 87,711 JPC and the blockchain shows 441,045. Nothing has reached Mintpal and no transactions show on the blockchain or the wallet for today.

I've tried running wallet with rescan flag, but still my coins are vanished. I've never seen anything like this with any wallet, surely a bug?

It's finally went through and funds have appeared in Mintpal.

I'm finished with JPC after this. 2 days of messing around for the most basic of tasks.  Angry
