So how are all my fellow JPC miners and traders doubt? It's getting far too quiet here. The rich list still seems fat at the top. Must still be plans for this coin. Would be cool to hear don the Dev

I've been solo mining with NVidia GPUs for the last two weeks with 18 Mhash/s. Found 16 blocks in 14 days. Very similar amount of coin mined as being on a pool, just a personal choice to solo. My reward/electricity ratio has hit parity, but it still seems a little better than other coins. I had been selling as I mined it, but now--because of the difficulty of getting ever smaller blocks--I have been hanging on to new mined coins for the last several days. I have a feeling that it might get more difficult to mine if it gets listed at the "where to mine" sites.

This is not an endorsement or anything, but I figure I should mention that this dev has carried through on the bounties with me, such as the logo design, even though they upgraded to other designs. I like them for their continued support and their fast, efficient algo, so I've been sticking with JPC for some time now.

Perhaps, buy without a community behind it, a cryptocoin faces a sure death.  Coinwars will spark interest in the coin.  Wher eit goes from there really depends upon the community and further development/marketing/applications from the devs.

Is there some way that the community / dev could network with a Vegas Casino or online gaming site? Talk about going big time.

i am barely mining and tried out DwarfPool now because of a LOT of connection error messages on my CPU miner mod.. with MiningPoolHub
so far it seems to be working a lot better on that pool for a CPU (i use 1 or 2 cpu's for mining only) been 24 hrs so far testing..

bought a bit more JPC today too and i noticed Bittrex has a NEW limit now for min amount you can buy which sucks Sad
and i noticed the limits all over on all coins actually and it became a problem over and over Sad

Buying, staking and a dash of mining  Cool

it's quiet all over crypto so i wouldn't be overly concerned the problem is with this one coin only.

all i know is i am stocking up on JPC

They have their own IT guys, and would develop there own coin first.  Most everything is open source, and easy to copy.

Most use BTC or LTC  or even DOGE now.

Actually, they dont USE the coins for gaming directly, they just accept them from you for staking your account, and then you play with tokens until you want to cash out.

They do this to avoid the bank and credit card blacklisting that has been in effect for a few years.

I see, I'm mining on Hash@Me as I get the best performance there.

Hmmm, probably to prevent bots doing fucky things.  To be fair, people buying and selling 1 JPC at a time is kind of pointless.  I'll see what the minimums are now.

Likewise, I have cheap electricity in Taiwan, so I just mine and stake all day.  I have full confidence we will see JPC rise again, at least to the 20-30 sat mark.

agreed about the price Wink

and the limit is like 0.00050000 of JPC coins minimum regardless of price i think
and i was just under the limit barely waiting for other transfers of other coins to sell off for JPC.
i only hold JPC these days now.. but i do get other coins and sell em just to buy more JPC at smaller amounts.. maybe i should look at Allcrypt hmm ?

i am getting some not bad BTC and Doge from the faucets in my Forum Sig links actually..  i have 40 BTC ref's and 4 Doge ref's
and the only reason i did the Doge one is because it was run the guy who made the BTC one.

so i am making BTC by doing nothing with my 40 referrals on BTC (not sure how many are active though)
Each ref means you get a percentage of their earnings (not taking anything away from them though)
So if anyone wants to help me out and click on my ref link(s) and then try it and pass on your own ref link you can get some free coins Wink
and don't forget with re-Captcha's you only have to type out the harder word of the two (not both)

and did you all like my gay picture ? LOL

Sorry about connection error.
I have no idea why you are suffering this problem, I didn't hear connection problem from others recently.

Maybe your cpu miner runs differently than normal sgminer.
Are you using Spoetnik's cpu miner? I'll try that cpu miner and analyze it.

Thanks

i had looked at the difficulty before i switched for testing and i think it said "128" (vardiff set i think)
and that was for a worker running on my CPU using my own CPU miner mod (exactly as publicly posted in my sig) identical code !
but i maybe suspected that over all your pool (settings wise) may be geared more towards the bigger miners.
like most guys are pushing large hash numbers.. my i7 CPU averages about half a mega-hash (500kh)

last couple weeks i get frequent disconnect error messages and my time out is set at 16 seconds so it kind of adds up over time Sad
and when i switched to Dwarf i have not had any issues and it seems way faster in every way.. i see more shares submitted faster etc (higher hash rate est's on pools)
Although i don't think i can see what the dwarf pool is giving my i7 cpu worker for difficulty is.

I also turn on and off another CPU even slower on JPC so problems will be worse on that i think too so..

Bottom line is i don't expect you (MiningPoolHub) to gear your pool towards super slow miners..
i will consider that my problem (if that is what is causing it) ..i still like the pool Smiley
and i am not sure what is causing issues.. me being in Western Canada maybe ? Or just cause i am a slow worker ?

edit:
And i know we talked about this a bit already on the Pool ANN page recently in case people are curious about it.. i have not checked it for days though.

edit2:
how many other guys are using workers that slow ? LOL
i have one at 500kh and another one at about 250kh.

dwarfpool has way more than 51% of the hash (it's ranged from around 70% to 90% over the last few minutes). I'm beginning to get orphans again solo mining, which hasn't happened since "The Fork." If miners want a healthy coin, then they need to spread the hash, else this coin just becomes like a microcoin (MRC) that in its final days could only be mined on one pool. Or would the POS eventually become large enough to save it? Almost all of the last POW blocks have gone to JdaWQx5PCseQUB96FUZ4vALkfPYFUzVG6U.

We could use some hash.

sadly that has always been the norm..

i went through this with Securecoin (SRC) last year and once the one big site took over that was it !
damn near a year later nothing has changed..

Here is the SRC pool stats from Coinmine.pl right now.. still to this day being pounded hard by CPU Botnets

Pool Hashrate
1,186.46 MH/s

Net Hashrate
1.19 MH/s

Reality is nobody actually gives a shit about much more than their own personal mining profits RIGHT NOW !
Long term does not seem to be of any concern.. never has and that goes for the entire scene which is why it's dying off.
So what can be done ?
Before on this coin's pool op's increased fee's and locked registration but Dwarf does not use registration (or some others)

The bigger guys need to take responsibility i think..
Like i am doing half a mega hash so it's not gonna matter what i do LOL

I advise Dwarfpool to raise the pool fee to 3 to 5% until their share goes down below 50% as MiningPoolHub did it before where it had more than 50% of hash power.

The truth is Dwarfpool has been a lot more stable than any of the other pools in my experience. If the other pools can keep the same uptime and offer similar features as Dwarf, then you might see more people spread out. Also I thought the risk of any kind of 51% attack was mitigated by POS? They would require a significant amount of the available coins (stake weight) in addition to controlling 51% of the network. Am I wrong?
