delisting on bittrex

I believe SFR is on the "verified developers" list for Bittrex and if i recall i thought someone mentioned, if a coin is on this list, they are exempt from delisting but I'm not exactly sure. I've personally already moved the SFR i keep on exchange from Bittrex to Crypsty, as Cryptsy has a SFR/BTC pairing and is not threatening to delist, but that's just my personal preference Smiley

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Is there any working x11 pool ?

Not that I know of. I believe this was the last updated list of working pools:

Edit: Updated 26 May 2015

I decided to compile a list of pools still in operation for the 5 algorithms, and on the correct blockchain, as the OP is a mess of dead links, and bad pools.

SFR Algo Healthcheck
Groestl, Sha and Blake are regularly generating blocks and in good health as they have active regular miners.
Scrypt had generated barely any blocks since the 26 April 2015, due to high difficulty and not enough miners. Effort was made as of 20 May 2015 to start mining Scrypt again, and several blocks were found bringing the difficulty back down. Now the profit switcher at Hamsterpool occasionally mines SFR when the difficulty goes too low, which is creating a volatile difficulty level. Below about difficulty level 6, about 20-30 miners on the profit switching pool start mining on Scrypt, and push the difficulty up way high, before all leaving again. Generally though Scrypt is looking better now, as at least we are finding blocks on an irregular schedule, rather than none at all.
x11 has no working pools that I can find, and therefore apparently no miners, and the difficulty is probably too high to solo mine. We need a new X11 pool so we can start mining again and bring the difficulty down to a more appropriate level. No new X11 blocks are being generated at present.

The great strength of multi-algo coins, is that that despite 2 algorithms being in poor health, 3 have been in continuous good health, meaning the coin still functions perfectly. Multi-algo coins have always been under appreciated, and Saffroncoin is probably the best one out there, despite the lack of progress from the dev in recent months and a low price, it is still fundamentally a solid, well developed coin.

Working Pools

X11
No known pools!
Please try solomining or create a pool!

SCRYPT
Semi-active pool: https://hamsterpool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool&coin=sfr_scrypt
This is a profit switching pool, and therefore doesn't always have miners. You can still use it as a dedicated SFR pool by pointing to port 3052. Solo miners also compete with this pool.

GROESTL
Inactive pool: https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/pools/saffroncoin-groestl
No one uses the Groestl pool very often, but it is working if you want to give it a go. The difficulty is low, and the algo is being supported by solo miners even when the pool is dead.

SHA-256D
Active pool: http://ispace.co.uk/coindetails/?coin=sfr
Active pool: https://hamsterpool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool&coin=sfr_sha256
Two competing pools, both finding blocks. Also competing with solo miners.

BLAKE256
Active pool: https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/pools/saffroncoin
This pool finds all the Blake blocks at the moment.

Mining Rewards
The current block reward is 21 SFR. Each algo is targeted to generate a block every 450 seconds. Each algo therefore can produce 4032 coins per day, for 20160 total new coins a day across all 5 algos. The actual amount of new coins a day is less than this, as not all algos, particularly X11, are being mined. The true number of new coins a day is between 12-16k a day, depending on Scrypt blocks found.

The problem with X11 is that it is attached to a powerful multipool. They drive the difficulty up sky high, and then abandon mining once it becomes unprofitable. Then it is left for someone else to mine at a severe loss to bring the diff back down again, at which point they push it right back up again.

Current Saffron community is not large enough to mine it at the kind of level required to combat the X11 multipool, so it is kind of doomed to being stuck at a high difficulty. Only more interest in the coin or a higher price can get X11 algo mining again. A pool being set up would be a step in the right direction as none exist.

In other good news though, all 4 other algorithms are in good health and regularly generating blocks for some time now, it seems my post advertising the working pools from May really helped boost their numbers.

You can see a breakdown of the % of blocks which go to each of the 4 algos for the past 500 blocks here: https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/mining-breakdown/SFR It is pretty even, about 25% for each of the 4 working algos.

I've tried all of them but there isn't any X11 working pool.

However, groestl (on miners-pool) works great in the meantime Wink

Thanks for the info.

Cheers.

SFR Informational Post
Updated: 17 August 2015

I decided to compile some information, most notably, a list of pools still in operation for the 5 algorithms, and on the correct blockchain, as the OP is a mess of dead links, and bad pools. Overall mining is much more healthy than since my first post, with 4/5 algorithms now generating blocks inline with the coins specifications. Therefore I will continue to update this post in order to further encourage mining.

SFR Healthcheck

Groestl, Sha, Scrypt and Blake are regularly generating blocks as intended and in good health as they have active regular miners. Blake and Sha are the most active, with miners occasionally dropping off of Scrypt and Groestl, but they always come back again.

x11 has serious problems as it has no dedicated working pool, no regular miners and is attached to a powerful multipool. The multipool drives the difficulty up sky high, and then they abandon mining once it becomes unprofitable. Therefore X11 hardly ever generates a block unless someone decides to solomine it at a severe loss. If difficulty comes down due to solomining, the multipool pushes it up again, making it rather futile to try and mine.

The great strength of multi-algo coins, is that that despite 1 algorithm being in poor health, 4 have been in continuous good health for some months now, meaning the coin still functions perfectly, and blocks are generated regularly. At all times in the coins history, at least 2 algorithms have been working, meaning blocks still generate and the block chain keeps moving. Multi-algo coins have always been under appreciated, and Saffroncoin is probably the best one out there, despite the lack of progress from the dev in recent months and a low price, it is still fundamentally a solid, well developed coin.

Members of the community are still running nodes, we are still mining the coin, and some people are even still buying. Pretty much everything this coin needs to do to survive, someone who posts in this thread has it covered. It's amazing to see so much support of this coin still about. Thanks to everyone who keeps this thing afloat. Shout out to Kid Brook especially for keeping so many working nodes up and running.

Working Pools

X11
No known pools!
Please see problem described above before attempting to solo mine this coin, or create a new dedicated pool to help solve the problem!

SCRYPT
New pool: http://p2pool.e-pool.net:8967/static/
The last Scrypt pool for SFR shut down on the 28th of July 2015. A new P2pool has just opened on the 14th August 2015, however one forum poster has reported problems using it. Algo is low difficulty, and can be easily solo mined.

GROESTL
Inactive pool: https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/pools/saffroncoin-groestl
No one uses the Groestl pool very often, but it is working if you want to give it a go. The difficulty is low, and the algo is being supported by solo miners even when the pool is dead.

SHA-256D
Active pool: http://ispace.co.uk/coindetails/?coin=sfr
One working pool with active miners, also competing with occasional solo miners.

BLAKE256
Active pool: https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/pools/saffroncoin
This pool finds all the Blake blocks at the moment, and is very active. Probably the easiest way to earn SFR if you have a low power home PC type setup/rig.

Mining Rewards

The current block reward is 21 SFR. Each algo is targeted to generate a block every 450 seconds. Each algo therefore can produce 4032 coins per day, for 20160 total new coins a day across all 5 algos. The actual amount of new coins a day is less than this, as X11 is not being mined. The true number of new coins a day is about 16k a day.

Bittrex frequently threatens that the coin is "in danger" that it "may" delist. However, everytime the "may delist" date arrives, the messsage disappears and the coin is not delisted. It seems that the "in danger" warning is automatically generated, whereas the actual coin delisting is not automatic. SFR seems to be protected for some reason, maybe because of its status as a verified coin, or some other reason.
