We all pay for the debt of others, long live the socialism, Eurobonds we come
But SUPI, I am looking forward to it, but really, always wanted to save Italian banks, oh what I say, the whole state. That makes me happy

The best is I ask my boss, if I can not work next week 50 hours, 10 I donate directly to Draghi and his ailing banks. Oh, I love to help so rich riches remain rich.

Said Ms Merkel, the old FDJ follower Wink "friendship" who does not understand it here https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freie_Deutsche_Jugend

Let us build a welfare state / sorry Europe .. in which politics determines what is going on in the media, do we have that today?

Sounds like Erich the old Haudegen (can't translate) haha who does not understand it again https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erich_Honecker

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

"Yobit pump alert software" Link in my signature!

Does anyone have a long list of nodes say 30-40? Perhaps a current blockchain? I tried the one for windows and its very old.

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

@Ghostlander: It would be awesome if we can get the Multi-send + auto split feature added to the wallet (similar to the HYP wallet).

Yes, so if someone buys 1000 ORB from an exchange, it's in their interests to send 20 ORB to themselves, 50 times? Rather than just leave it as a 1000 lump?
Yes, for maximum profit better split to 20-50 coins chunks.

Current wallet software could handle it automatically but it will take more time:
Each time PoS block is generated wallet check how old was input which generate this block.
And if age < maximum staking age (for Orbitcoin maximum age = 20 days while minimum age = 5 days) considers that this input was too large/above optimal size (for the current network PoS difficulty), and divides it by 2.
Ie 1000 coins sent in single transaction after the first finding of the PoS block (it will be on the 6th day - such large inputs generates PoS blocks very fast after reaching minimal staking age) will be split into two transactions of ~500 coins each. Or more precisely (1000 + 1 + tx fees if any) / 2 = 500.5 (+fees/2)

After this new 2 inputs(formed auto by wallet) found own PoS blocks (it near 10-12 days from original transaction) it will be split to 4 inputs (500.5+1)/2 = 250.75 coins each
And so on - until wallet split all incoming transaction into pieces of optimal size for current network difficulty (it is within range from 20 to 50 coins now, but can be higher if diff grows up enough)
So after some time all wallets used for active staking(PoS mining) ends in near same conditions and rate of PoS generations in long term depends only on total amount of coins in wallet, current PoS network difficulty and amount of time wallet running online staking - not matter if person just put coins by one large transaction or split to many small manually.

But at starting period (first few weeks) manually prepared wallet will generate more blocks(and coins to - because PoS reward in ORB is fixed, not % as it set in almost all other PoS coins).

is this still relevant? Or has it changed?

just wanting to know whether it is beneficial to break the amount into multiple 20 ORB addresses.

Bigger chunks normally stake a little faster but smaller chunks will also give a good stake result.
Staking with a fixed PoS reward is also a matter of luck, my experience is that sometimes a small
chunk of 30 ORB will stake faster than a chunk of 50+ ORB.
I have 50+ chunks that did a stake after only 24 hours... just a matter of luck... small chunks of
20 ORB will take mostly (much) longer is my experience...

I would recommend to use at least chunks of 40 ORB.

Nice to see the daily volume of ORB at Cryptopia.
Now the price of BTC is very high past days many other alts went down a lot, ORB still very stable Smiley

ORB has been very stable during the years. I think it is EXTREMELY undervalue right now.

It could easily do a x10 or x20 if noticed by the masses of altcoin investors.

Nice one. Thanks mate. I guess there is no simple solution to this. I would have to send it to another wallet and send them back 40 by 40.

Cheers Smiley

P.S yeh its heaps nice seeing the progress of ORB.

Think everyones been HODLing..  lol

Losing Bleutrade didn't help.  Topia is a good exchange, the others have such low volume of everything.

I think we'll have a wallet maintenance release the next month. That's good in general to update checkpoints, fix small bugs, etc. every few months even if nothing critical happened.

I was never able to deposit ORB to POSW.   The wallet was in maintenance forever, despite their not being any issues with ORBs chain and plenty of active nodes.

I provided an add node list to POSW so they could get the wallet up again.

You're welcome.   Smiley

ORB's a good coin.  One of my favorites out of the 130+ different currencies I trade / hodl and has one of the best POS hybrid systems of any coin that I've played with.  What I don't get it why such lack of interest if someone would want to try and explain that to me.  Is it because there aren't 100,000,000 or billions of ORB's to generate a fuckton of volume?

Seems to be that the currencies with a lower coin supply struggle more than those with high inflation due to there being a lower trade volume which causes exchanges to cast it aside, which really hurts the coin more than anything else.  It's not like its a high maintence coin either despite it using a lot of memory when staking.  The wallet itself has been functioning seamlessly.

its probably more due to lack of information, i think most people investing into cryptos dont know much about ORB

Ghostlander, You can create an autocorrection for unstaked coin's

A schedule for "repair wallet"?

An automatic wallet repair? I'd prefer not to do anything on wallets without user consent.
