I think it's an work in progress. Keep an eye on it, but just don't order there (do I need to say "don't pay"?) at least yet. The website uses Coinpayments (coinpayments.net) for crypto. L.E. I can't find ORB on https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins

@Mario241077 That's a really nice store but as rmd73 said, they haven't any important information available. Some days ago the ORB wallet (and some other wallets) were in maintenance at Coinpayments, but still listed. Later the ORB wallet was online again but now it seems gone, like several other coins There's a pretty high monthly volume needed to keep a coin listed at Coinpayments: All coins are subject to delisting upon 90 days if minimum monthly volume is below $5,000 USD. Requested extensions can be purchased for $250 USD for an additional 90 days.With the current price this means we need 5232 ORB every 3 months. That's 1745 ORB monthly x 3 = $250 / 90 days. But we still have Cointopay. I spoke to the owner yesterday, he's a very nice and trustable guy and he will not delete Orbitcoin when the monthly volume is low

Hi everyone,
I have a question about staking, I've read the FAQ but it is still unclear for me. Let say my balance is exactly 20 ORB, but received with different addresses, am I staking, or should I send myself those 20 ORB to stake ?

Hi everyone,
I have a question about staking, I've read the FAQ but it is still unclear for me. Let say my balance is exactly 20 ORB, but received with different addresses, am I staking, or should I send myself those 20 ORB to stake ?
Go to the "Wallet->Option" menu, then click on the "Display" tab. Make sure the "Enable the Coin Control (beta)" option is checked. Click "OK" and return to the main interface window. Click on "Send" button. You should see a "Coin control" button on the right. Click it. That will open a new window in which you'll be able to see the "inputs" for each (ORB) address in your wallet. Depending on the content of the "orbitcoin.conf" those inputs might be or not eligible to stake. You should have at least something like that in that file: stakemindepth=5000 stakecombine=30 stakesplit=60
port=15298 rpcport=15299 rpcuser=orbitcoinrpc<or_whatever_username_you_prefer> rpcpassword=<put_your_own_password_here> addnode=seed0.orbitcoin.org:15298 addnode=seed1.orbitcoin.org:15298
That will tell the orbitcoin wallet app (or daemon) to combine smaller inputs up to 30 ORB in order to stake and to split inputs after they stake if they exceed 60 ORB. In an older thread (and another forum) there was a recommendation of stakecombine=20 and stakesplit=40 (without spaces, that's important), but at the current PoS difficulties... you'll have to wait quite a lot. Anyway, 20 ORB is a quite small amount to stake. Get some more, say up to 1000 ORB, then split them in 31 inputs of 31 ORB each and an imput of 39 ORB, and let them just sit in your wallet for a few months. You'll see that the 39 ORB chunk will have slightly more chances to be elected for stake than its 31 ORB siblings, but on a much larger time interval, each ORB will be "equal" to the others L.E.: On Windows (Vista and newer), orbitcoin.conf will be found in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\orbitcoin (i.e. c:\users\Lisa_nelson\AppData\Local\orbitcoin). On Linux, you'll find it in /home/Lisa_Nelson/.orbitcoin/ (mind the dot, it's important). Whatever you do, make sure you keep a (recent) backup of your wallet.dat file! Oh, and keep it safe (like the PIN on your creditcard)

Oh, and keep it safe (like the PIN on your creditcard) Thanks for your explanations. If I understand it correctly, the deamon will automatically combine my inputs in order to stake ? I wish I had a larger hardware to mine Orbitcoin, unfortunately I can't afford it right now :/

yes but the foundation want to do a hark fork because of the doa scam The DAO is dead basically. What they attempt to do now is to prevent cashing out stolen DAO tokens for ETH. These tokens are frozen for 27 more days. The hacker will redeem them for ETH after in the absence of a hard fork. There is another question. Are the ETH developers going to hard fork every time a large smart contract gets hacked or not? Whatever is the answer, it's no good. This isn't a decentralised network and definitely not autonomous. ETH as a core computing platform is interesting, but it has not yet appealed to me because it has the ability to attack itself due to the ability to execute code. I mainly trade ORB and a few other coins on a daily bases. What we need is a solid community and a network of people willing to accept ORB for goods and services.

Mario said, sell off in the financial market June 28, 2016 11:14 Proposed referendum on United Kingdom membership of the European Union-whisper: Merkel, Juncker, Draghi and the Osborne Schorschi Just as it also has a few minutes later then Angela Merkel be heard. But then Mutti was maternally strict: the discharge must have concrete consequences, they would accept no cherry-picking. But then the United Kingdom could only have full access to the EU market, if it accept the free movement, that is the free choice of employment (just in UK for EU citizens). Exactly the central theme of Proposed referendum on United Kingdom membership of the European Union Debate in UK had yet been - and that do not want the Proposed referendum on United Kingdom membership of the European Union advocates precisely. So if it goes badly for the British, they are required to accept the rules of the EU, especially the freedom of movement, but are still within the EU outside. Rarely so bitter laugh! And then came Super Mario Draghi. The diverging policies of central banks generating uncertainty, the Mario. what does he mean with that? Either the Fed must again run QE and introduce negative interest rates, or the ECB should leave its QE and constantly talk about rate hikes, which are then, however, canceled at the last moment. Because in China, a bag of rice has fallen again. Or the manipulators of labor market statistics have beaten the last employment report as far down as compensation that they had many years previously beaten him up through voodoo categories as the Birth- / Death model. But the Mario said today nothing for Proposed referendum on United Kingdom membership of the European Union, but a sentence that still resounds in our ears: in a global competitive devaluation would all lose. I beg your pardon? No Mario, we all know: it lose only the slower ones! And to those of Mario has not been heard for sure .. http://finanzmarktwelt.de/brexit-gefluester-merkel-juncker-draghi-und-der-osborne-schorschi-36166/

It's a pity that Coinpayments removed ORB and a lot of other coins. Several services are using Coinpayments, like Fauceting, for them this is also an unpleasant surprise, specially because Coinpayments didn't informed anyone! When we pay Coinpayments they will add ORB again. I.m.o. we should focus on Cointopay, that's what i gonna do anyway
