This is great news, it also will mean an end to the anon coin "fad" that was seen with coins such as DASH.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I helped Damelon with creating a fresh OP (openings post). Do you like it? Are there things missing or do you have other suggestions? Let me know!  Smiley

Looks good. It is more user-friendly now. There are two images which are not shown since of bitcointalk restrictions.

It's doing this quite randomly, it seems.
Looking for a solution.

Has anybody still coins on bter.com?

I think it's time to get out there! Seems to me that they are pulling a Mt.Gox.

Maybe you are downloading a complete new blockchain. When you're using windows, please check the location of the database folder. It changed to the user's AppData folder in recent releases.

No, I use my old blockchain, the location is the same as before (portable version with my own data folder).

So what's the long-term target price for NXT? Marc de Mesel says 1 dollar or more, but how much more  Huh

Anyone trying to put a long term price on any crypto related things is blowing hot air. nobody knows, this is way too speculative

You should download the entire blockchain from NXT Peerexplorer, then insert it into your DB folder.

It gets explained on peer explorer step by step.

Well, nobody knows. it is pure speculation. But if crypto currencies will have a breakthrough 1 billion market cap - Dollar / Nxt parity - for Nxt is simply possible. And it would be only one third of current bitcoin market cap. So there is much space to rise.

So what's the long-term target price for NXT? Marc de Mesel says 1 dollar or more, but how much more  Huh

Price seems to be determined by nxt early adopter whales, of late. Liquidation still in progress, me thinks.  Undecided

Hm, when i read the last page of their thread then i tend to agree. Though bitfinex.com had some problems too in their thread in the last weeks. Though nothing with hacked was mentioned.

Im not sure how big the problem is. Wonder if i should short bitcoins.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Guys, some buzz could be around that very soon: https://rya.nc/defcon-brainwallets.html (http://www.wired.com/2015/07/brainflayer-password-cracker-steals-bitcoins-brain/). Please note Nxt is totally safe against precomputation attacks since mid-2014(that's why PK announcement is needed for a new account). So no worries, and use long passphrases(35 chars at least as highly recommended by the wallet).
