Why the mynxt.org wallet can't broadcast the transaction?

What do you mean exactly? You have transaction bytes and you want to manually broadcast the transaction?
Yes, something as cold wallet and off line transaction.
We, or someone else might release an plugin for this. I can't give you a time though. It's not very hard to create, but we have a lot on our roadmap. Especially with the MS being launched.

Yesterday was a 30 day high for 'transactions per day' @ 5732.
http://www.mynxt.info/charts/transactions_per_day.php?limit=30

If it passes 7091, then that will be the new 12 month high (and all time high?)
http://www.mynxt.info/charts/transactions_per_day.php?limit=365

And thanks to Monetary system, this chart for 'Nxt fees per day' is just silly...

CfB is doing ok  Cheesy

I have earned 90 NXT by selling minted EGOLD. Neat.

I would have earned 180 NXT by selling those coins few hours later.  Cheesy
Well, I justed minted more and got extra 200 NXT.

A side effect of Nxt MS is that you think of protfit denominated in Nxt, not fiat.

after playing around with minting i noticed that mscoin mining works a little bit different to traditional mining. normally the mineable coins has a time cycle per release and also amount per release plus the difficulty.

so far with mscoin its about your settings.
Quote
# Number of units to mint per transaction
# The minting difficulty grows linearly with the number of units per mint
nxt.mint.unitsPerMint=10000

if cashing out at 1mint per nxt it becomes much more faster to gain the mscoins. but if cashing out at 10000mints per nxt fee, it becomes much slower to gain mscoin but you save on the fees.

what happens when nxt.mint.unitsPerMint=1000000

i wonder if minting pools would work with mscoins for us with ancient computers?

If you put in that parameter, it will take AGES to mint that batch Cheesy

You will need to search for the "sweet spot" between minting regularly without making a loss on the fee.

It's CPU mining, so you should be OK, even with a relatively ancient computer.

Just don't put it too low, as you will be minting like mad, but making a loss on fees.  Wink

Has EGOLD any 'business' plans? Because I wonder why people buy mscoins that don't really have a purpose but a fancy name. Cheesy

When CoinShuffling is released EGOLD could be used for mixing: Buy EGOLD with NXT -> Mix -> Sell EGOLD for NXT.

I keep geeting "Warning: You are most likely on a fork (you have forged the last 10 blocks)." and "The request timed out. Warning: This does not mean the request did not go through. You should wait a couple of blocks and see if your request has been processed."

Using 1.4.8. On the terminal I see
Code:
2015-01-13 03:20:36 FINE: Rollback from 331410 to 331409

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Try deleting the database directory (nxt_db iirc). Or a full clean install should do.

When CoinShuffling is released EGOLD could be used for mixing: Buy EGOLD with NXT -> Mix -> Sell EGOLD for NXT.

Didn't think of that. That would be indeed interesting.

Of course, if they allow shuffling with NXT itself, then the intermediate step won't be needed. Which would save on having to waste NXT by paying the spread on both transfers.

Nxt won't be shuffled directly because it's potential affect on TF.
