Yeah, NXT is kind of strange in that aspect. But don't worry, as soon as bad news come our way the price will spike to a new high. Oh also pre--pre-anouncements work too.

I say 'save'
It downloads but truncates the file name at .....nrs1.1

If I say 'open'
nothing happens

Think i'll just wait for the next "new" client

Also what will most likely help is change the name of the time to ".exe" in the end of the name-

Google Chrome ( which I don't normally use ) did the trick ..
One click install of the 'client' right on top of the old one ( just like you said ) ..
Perfect .. ( I knew I liked this coin .. Best wallet in cryptoland !! )
Please Please keep the wallet as user friendly as possible  ..
I personally think that wallet usability is the key feature to any coin's
adoption rate by the non technical person ( me )

I'll PM user "T-800" who was having the same issue I was with upgrading the client ..

Please use mozilla forefox.

I wouldn't recommend using NXT until you have scanned your PC to check there are no trojans on it. It's very easy to get trojans if you use IE for your browser.

Wesley is already working up two options in the Client: Normal and Advanced (I don't know what the actual names will be)

But Normal will be a buy/sell type client with all the advanced features hidden, click Advanced to get full access to features.

Hi Triff,

You don't need to get permission to market stuff if you want to, if you get enough interest from others to do it then you just get on with it 

Nxt has a Promotions forum on nxtforum.org, you can start a thread in there, post the link around so people know about it and go from there.
