How i can trade bitcoin on next client? deposit with multigateway, and than is an asset for trading, or i must create them?  Undecided

Essentially when you deposit BTC to the Multigateway it will be sent to you as the mgwBTC asset. You can trade that on the NXT asset exchange... but only BTC/NXT. If you want to convert it back to BTC you can use the multi-gateway again.

However, if you want to convert BTC to say DOGE, you can sell your BTC assets for NXT, then buy DOGE assets. Then if you want you can use the mgw to withdraw the Doge to your Doge wallet.

So, basically the NXT AE with the addition of the mgw becomes an exchange where you can trade any supported mgw coin with NXT rather then BTC that you would use at say BTER.

What will differentiate NXT once Ethereum comes out?

Does NXT have any unique plans that cannot be solved easier on the more flexible Ethereum platform?

Indeed.

1) Smart Contracts -- Not Turing-complete but covers basically 99% of all smart contract problems (trust me contract writers do not need Turing-completeness)
2) Automated Transactions -- Turing-completeness addition to Nxt; for the 1% other applications that require more elaborate algorithms

Btw. more flexible is not easier. In fact, most of the time it is the other way round. With more flexibility comes a steeper learning curve and bigger amount of mistakes made.

Thank you for your thoughtful response!

As much as I like the idea of Turing completeness your comments make sense. It is very complex and brings additional security risks for such as infinite loops, etc which could potentially do harm to the blockchain

Exactly. As a first step we will have Smart Contracts that is way easier to implement and after that Automated Transactions to give everybody the flexibility and right to create new features.

That's the first "IF".  It took a literal decade plus to get all the bugs in Java and C++ worked out, and to educate a generation of developers to program in that language.  Who is going to program in Ethereum, to bring all the "flexible stuff" you want, if nobody is versed in the language?

"If" Ethereum comes out.. what then?  Maidsafe barely grew any capitalization beyond its' IPO.  Mastercoin, which was the first grand IPO, is now a dying stagnating coin.   Ethereum is stuck being this ponzi scheme ran by a few wealthy investors that will likely just stagnate.  There's no incentive for subsequent investors to come in.

Vitalik and the Ethereum crew get nervous and/or refuse to answer questions when other 2.0 coins are mentioned.  I bet even NODE is better than Ethereum, LOL.

Ethereum being PoW / PoS hybrid (emphasis on the former) technically makes it a generation 1.5 coin in my book, even with the new 'programming language' that probably won't be put to much use until 10 years down the line.

There ain't no Revolution like a NEMolution.  The only solution is Bitcoin's dissolution! NEM!

I hope you realize that there is NO END to feeding the Ego...  make sure to tell Come-from-Beyond too...   Roll Eyes

I am sorry, this is not about ego. This is about being pragmatic and I do not see why we cannot have parallel solutions.

Of course, Turing-completeness means that it can do everything one could possibly do and therefore includes the functionality of Smart Contracts. However, the pragmatic approach right now is to have Smart Contract to cover the majority of the pressing use cases.

After that, Turing-completeness will handle the outstanding use cases.
