It is because this is not the original quarkcoin, this is a fork and is a new coin. If you would like to download the source for the original version and go back to the old blockchain then you are welcome to do that but i think their community is smaller and less active.

It is not the responsibility of this new community to convert the old one but we are happy to help anyone that wants to

The problem is the old developer has left, so we patched the code up and saved it. The old one is hopelessly outdated and contains a lot of problems.

At the moment we're working on some more fixes, so wallets will keep changing in the upcoming time, I'm afraid.

To develop QB to a level that it is reliable and trustworthy requires a lot of effort from the foundation team members.  Unfortunately sometimes new wallets or forks are announced, but the foundation is keeping this to a minimum.
Community support means also communication to and from the community. I think it's good to rely on the communication channels that are required and announced in this thread. As we are still working hard to improve QB and the community we are also adding new channels such as the Twitter account.

I like your feedback: We will make sure the announcement on the first page always has the most actual information.

we do not enforce any of our changes to you. We don't ask you to honour, comply or follow our lead or patches either.

We still offer the unmodified code of the original QuarkBar to anyone who disagrees with the changes we made.
With luck you might even find some old forgotten nodes that still advertise this version.

I was not saying I did not like your English. I was saying I am guessing it is not your native language because I didnt understand your question. I dont mean it as an insult or anything because I would not be able to communicate with you in Russian other then what google can do. I just was saying a little patience because I was trying to figure out what you where asking. Sorry if it felt like I was attacking you and your English skills.
