I'm pretty sure DarkGravityWave 3 was launched by LOGICOIN first, not quarkbar.

Git commits never lie...

I voted for POS of course Wink

ASIC's aren't a problem for the quark algo which is why I didn't go for N-Factor, I was surprised to not see anything about anonymization given darkcoins recent success.
Please lord help the people who voted for 'new things', that's like voting for 'more success' isn't it?
POS + Qurak algo would be a new innovation in itself Cheesy

I hope they stay away form the anonymous features. It attracts more users that what to use it for illegal activities and will eventually have to deal with governments.

To purposefully leak your financial information so that it can be tracked and analysed by a third party be they the government or otherwise is to be a willing slave. Anonymity is important but that can come later since mixing services already exist that we can take advantage of.
There is however nowhere we can securely store our coins whilst earning interest on them and also strengthen the security of the network as an added bonus, POS though would do that for all of us and since the discussion has been going on in the quark forum for longer than our coin has existed it would be very nice to beat them to the punch Wink

10th place on cmc has a cap of $11.5million putting our coins at just over $1 each which is the least we would achieve. Imagine how happy you would be if your coins were worth that is just a few weeks time Shocked

Glorious times ahead Smiley

Just noticed the votes for "Experimental new things" is now up to 4.
Who are you people? When you go out to eat and the waiter asks you for your order do you ask him for "something nice please"?
 Tongue

If you are going to vote for that then at least make a suggestion in the thread about what you think the feature should be.

I agree here. I voted POS. Even though it is the fad right now and might die down it still would be great exposure to a large group of people.

when is the closing date for the vote?

Not sure yet. We will likely come up with innovative suggestion and create final vote between two options.

Personally not a big fan of POS, because it promotes saving the coins instead of using it. Not up to me though, but hope we can think of something that actually serves the money aspect of cryptocurrency.

Suggestions are welcome.:-)

I hear what you but hopefully it would also instil a sense of long term investment rather than short term trade resulting in a more sustainable value. Slow and steady and all that. A leaf out of Mintcoins book. Cinni isn't a good example of this however.

NEWSFLASH!
We managed to find back many of the premine coins in Quarkbar and also traced this back to the trading account of the scammer. It turns out he was also connected to the scam of Beecoin and Shacoin. Allcoin has decided to divide the 0.45BTC in frozen assets among the Beecoin, Shacoin and Quarkbar community

Read it all here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=621906.msg6948724#msg6948724

Honesty seems to be strong in these ones. Amazing. You can earn so much more with trust and honesty than with dishonesty and lies.
