A lovely job.

Those fees, though. Yowza. I don't think I'll be moving much until they come down.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Thanks  a lot for the kind words Koop! I've helped out with coins before (such as Devcoin) but NODE was my favourite project by far! I just love the speed, simplicity and light footprint!

Keep up the great work guys and don't let the trolls get you down! The more trolls that show up, the more that says NODE is going places as people feel that their "bags" are being threatened  Grin

Not at the moment, but definitely in the future!

What do you mean by Open wallet?!

Your wallet as well as the coins belong to you so you can do with them whatever you might want!

If you are referring to your account from the spreadsheet as "open" than as long as nobody knows your passphrase, there is no need to worry about!

white paper: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zDlGZn7sICIA8bUPhe6jPPzGOxA4YgTgi6J4XilFpgs/edit
but
just now forging is random:

My wallet is open a while but there are only two peers, she is limited to 2 in beta?

This issue is fixed in v.0.9b! You can get to it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590421.msg8926265#msg8926265

thanks! More an question: what happens if I send a transaction and wait to confirm, then another, then another and so on? I can make the that queue confirm a block with only one transaction, can I try to make my turn to confirm a block arrive faster?

at the moment the forging is set to random, so it picks accounts on a random base, so you can get selected as well!

but if you are referring to PoA, he mechanism that will be added as our default forging system, sendign transactions one after another, won't do: as you will not be able to forge your own transactions. But if you make transactions continuously you will raise your Nodeheight till the moment when you will be higher then the rest, and you'll get the chance to generate it and collect the fees.

+ blocks are generated every 60s

What is the total number of coins? Coinmarketcap.com says 600 million, while Bter says 1 Billion. I can't find the information anywhere else.

And also, what was the total amount of money invested in the IPO and crowd sourcing campaign?

Thanks
