Better do an auction for the source code with a starting bid in 5BTC, Koop. So have a realistic sense of value.

I think we forget this story of integration with a bank and make a marketplace in the client with reputation system.
To exchange node x BTC and then other currencies would make a good future to the node.
Much better than now.
Much easier to implement.

There's some comparatively enormous buy orders on BTer for once. I wonder what's reenergised it.

See: http://nodecoin.helprace.com/s1-general/ideas/top Devs are lazy.
Changes only the client version and does not enter any new feature. So discouraged anyone. Willingness to dump my nodes.
The only solution would be to put the code on github for more people already helping.

I thought it was nodemonster who was selling. That's surprising and not a good idea at all to sell right now.

I'm holding as well Smiley

Hey everyone, so I had to create another account after several attempts at retrieving my old one.

I was locked out and banned, for what reasons I have no idea. All I know is it happened after the whole change your password thing and every attempt I tried making at contacting the e-mail given have failed.

I have been following the thread and it's disheartening seeing what it is coming to.

Anyone have anymore updates on what is going on besides the obvious non-communication happening?

not really. It IS disheartening indeed.

My notion about this always was that when the Fiat Empire collapses this could provide an alternative currency and market place for trade and barter.

Theoretically, that could still happen, but the chances are small.

I guess nothing has changed really. Bank-deal should still happen in september if first attempts are succesful.
And when news of that spreads around it should raise the price so high that paid marketing can start.
And when the bank get it's customers using Node.... we can except soon 1$ = 1 Node, right ?   Cool

Silk is on vacation, dev that helping him too. I think we will see no news or posts till he returns.

From my communication with Silk I'm 90% sure he is not lying and meeting with bank will happen in August.

I think he also had some investors that are not from this forum. About 80 millions where bought recently at Bter. And I don't think that was someone from regular readers of this thread.
