"loading please wait" takes waaaaaay too long.. :/

Loads the whole blockchain on 1st startup maybe thats why it takes some time.

ah ok.. it should say that on loading then instead of just wait cos people will think its crashed.. as time goes on the longer it will stall at start up and people will wonder why...
I think THe "loading notification" should be replaced with a percentage or download status bar!

It will make this moment easier to understand!

yup thats sounds good!

what would be really cool, is have a network type picture where the lines between nodes come together like a puzzle and once the network "puzzle" is fully put together, its fully loaded and the lines light up and then client opens? that would be slick! Cheesy

Awesome idea!

Are you a designer by any chance Huh

The new release is still using the outdated and known-vulnerable v0.10.22 nodejs.

The new source is packed using some "actual" obfuscation this time, and is not as trivially recovered.  This just makes me wonder what they are applying this effort/expense to hide something toward.

This obfuscated code also doesn't run cleanly under nodejs alone anymore.  For the moment I'll not be running any node nodes since I don't want to be forced to use their insecure nodejs on windows.

I'm never gonna grade at bter again. They lost a lot of credibility during recent hack

And I think it wasn't the first time. It might as well have been an inside job.

Better watch out for some quality exchange, develop your own fiat gateway or try to use nxt AE multigateway.
