I am surprised you quit so soon. In Alt, it's either hit or miss. Mostly its Gamble. Good luck with other coins.

Day trading is ALWAYS a gamble. Don't blame the dev for your lack of patience. The dev never claimed the coin offered a quick profit, quite the contrary. What the dev did offer is a coin with a long-term plan and one that was launched fairly. Other than the total number of PoW coins cut in half to ~9.5M due to PoS begining at launch, there have been little issues and the PoS works 100% as expected. The 0.5% premine of 500,000 coins amounts to a total of 10 BTC at the recent high of 2000 sat. I don't see how anyone could think that is excessive. The coin was one of the fairest launches I've ever seen and zero insta-mining going on with the 1 coin block reward for the first 200 blocks. I would much rather see a coin with a modest premine announced upfront and launched fairly than one claiming 'zero premine' and then having the first 100 blocks insta-mined or another type of scam launch. I also have yet to hear anyone having been censored by the dev.

For you to have lost 80% of your investment in less than week, you literally had to have bought at the high of around 2000 sat and sold at the low of 300 and that can happen with ANY altcoin. The problem is ever since coins began getting listed on an exchange within an hour of launch, everyone thinks the coin must go up 1000% in a week or it's a failure. The fact is that is not a realistic expectation, especially considering the coin was the target of numerous multipools dumping piles of coins. If you can't have a little patience for the dev to lay out his plan, then this is obviously not the coin for you and you can go try the latest Pump and Dump scam coin, that promises the moon but rarely delivers anything but an illusion.

I did also PM with an offer of doing something, related to my workplace. I didnt get a reply so Im guessing it wasnt quite the right fit for the coin.


Anyway, what about a competition to take photos of the coin logo in famous/different places around the world or something like that? a bit of fun and competition for everyone. Something to raise the fun level and coin profile would be good for a student related coin. Not too stuffy.


I have been meaning to get the ball rolling, need a nice coin picture. Either the original logo enlarged or perhapse the nice community made one from a few pages back.

I took a gamble on this coin both mining and buying some (about 0.4 btc worth) so I am losing heavily at the moment too.  The coin showed promise initially but lately the dev/marketing team are not doing anything for this coin (unless it's all in the background of course).

I get the impression that the dev doesn't really have any plans for this coin and the university name has no substance behind it.  where are the hookups with real universities??

I emailed about the logo and the dev responded by saying that he had higher priorities atm, and that he would run a logo contest in a months time, I emailed asking him run it earlier (offered to run it aswell), so that we can get a good branding (hasn't responded yet to that message), as then i can get some marketing things done, as I do not want to pay for a professional video to be made for the logo to get changed.

I don't think its time to abandon ship, The wallet hasn't had any massive problems, the dev is still active on the forum though he probably may need some help, and we still have a community, the sell orders are quite weak at this price and i could easily buy up those orders, Its better if the panic sellers sell now.
