See, the problem with such a short mining period is that it is worthwhile for people/groups with the resources to DoS everyone else while throwing everything at this coin until they collect all of the the blocks. So who wants to buy from these jackasses that hold all the cards? Nobody with any intelligence... Therefore coin is worthless right out of the gate.

Well 45 ghash begs to differ, though I agree that the chinese pool/multipools/and scrypt asics farms sure did a great job trashing the network (MASSIVE diff fluctuations) and making it nearly impossible to find anything/stick on a working pool. I can't believe how well orchestrated the ddos attacks we're last night. Those fuckers took down everything!

and BTW, wtf is a "shibe", anyway? Is it like diarrhea?

More like a case of explosive shits  Grin

Thank you for clarifying. I couldn't find "shibe" in the dictionary.  Grin

You are quite welcome my good man. I'll use it in a sentence for further clarification.

'I took a fucking shibe last night after taco bell that almost blew my ass off.'  Grin

I do appreciate it.

And I can hardly believe a previous poster saying he wants more shibes on board. That would be messy.

I downloaded the "new" wallet from the windows link, https://bintray.com/theshibecoin/ShibeCoin-QT-Windows/ShibeCoin-Qt-Windows/1/view/files, and the zip states it's version 0.7.1 but when extracted and running it still says version 0.7.0 ??

Yes, but the login page never loads.. I can get to homepage but cannot login or even see the login screen. I'm using fios so it is definitely not my end, please take a look at the issue as I would like to withdraw my funds!
