ANALYSIS-REPORT: SHIBECOIN
by bitsta, ra1nb0wdash & goldmann

dear shibe-community,

you maybe already know me or bitsta from the asiacoin-thread. it was us who detected
the asiacoin-scam. we got a lot of messages from SHIBE-users regarding an analysis of SHIBE.
well as there seems to be a huge interest in this coin, we have made a detailed analysis-report which
is going to be published on our new coming coinanalysis-website. This is the short report:

we have finished the analysis of shibecoin which consisted of:
  • hex debug (analysis of memory hops)
  • analysis of data/networkcommunication
  • analysis of sourcecodes
  • analysis of blockchain
  • setting up an 3rd party blockexplorer: http://blockexplorer.uni.me

1. hex debug:
analysing the memory-hops/hex debug of shibecoin-qt on windows & OSX 10.9.2
showed ordinary processcommunication with memory.

2. analysis of data/networkcommunication:
the seednodes are beeing requested form the seednode which is
hardcoded into the wallet. there is no other "hidden" communication
except the std. walletcommunication.
Code:
// DNS seeds
// Each pair gives a source name and a seed name.
// The first name is used as information source for addrman.
// The second name should resolve to a list of seed addresses.
static const char *strDNSSeed[][2] = {
    {"levitation", "levitation.theshibecoin.com"},
    {"magnetic", "magnetic.theshibecoin.com"},
    {"testnetfield", "testnetfield.theshibecoin.com"},
};

3. analysis of sourcecodes:
sourcecodes are clean and we can confirm that there are no hidden codes
or "edited" functions:
getinfo --> moneysupply is beeing requested by function ValueFromAmount();
Code:
obj.push_back(Pair("moneysupply",   ValueFromAmount(pindexBest->nMoneySupply)));
ValueFromAmount() is clean:
Code:
Value ValueFromAmount(int64 amount)
{
    return (double)amount / (double)COIN;
}
we also checked all other rpcfunctions and can confirm that they are all clean.

4. analysis of blockchain:
the analysis of the blockchain showed that all mined blocks contained the amounts
which are declared in the OP. No hidden "superblocks".

5. we set up an blockexplorer so you can make yourself sure everything is legit:
http://blockexplorer.uni.me

summary: shibecoin is a 100% legit coin. there was a small instamine, but thats totally normal nowadays because some pools with huge miningpower start at low diff and therefore get a lot of blocks. there is a fair distribution of the coins over the network. we will release a TOP 100 list in the next few days.

tips appreciated: SV3eTFiVnuN478ESbjnA7WDQejcag3LFFa

No mention that the coin was ninja launched and close to 50 blocks (with the highest rewards) were insta-mined BEFORE the announcement was made. That is NOT 'normal nowadays'. Normally the coins with the lowest diff at the start go to solo-miners that get setup the quickest and NOT pools like this suggests. Pools usually take  at least a couple of minutes AFTER the coin is released and that is with an announcement made well in advance, not a ninja launch like this was. Many coins will also start with the lowest block rewards at the start to avoid insta-mining, this is the opposite of what this coin has done. The insta-mining on this coin began BEFORE and after the announcement was made. Which make this a 100% insta-mine SCAM coin with the largest rewards going to the 50 blocks mined BEFORE the release.

The 50 blocks that were mined before the announcement was made contained the highest rewards and amounted to 6,250,000 coins out of the total of 252,500,000 mined during the PoW stage. That equals 2.5% of the PoW coin total + an additional 1,500,000 coins from the announced 0.5% premine. 8,750,000 coins were mined BEFORE the announcement was even made.. People need to know this before investing or believing the hype.

do you guys think we should even bother voting on mintpal? does this coin do enough volume that it will be a slam dunk to be added?

we need to get this to MintPal.

I've never seen a coin get this much volume on day 1 on BitTrex and that says something about the amount of interest and potential in this coin.

If AC/WC didn't have the issues it did, it still would be going up. SHIBE has the potential to be better.
Mintpal is only doing one vote per person per hour now. The price on the pay vote has also changed (.001 btc per vote).

i don't care about your opinion, you're just a bagholder, you're not important. my question was to the DEVELOPER of coin.

care to comment on 23 million unannounced ninja pre mine to these accounts on the first 50 blocks?

http://192.227.251.74:8888/address/Sa5bmQiDwDnVFuhgeFSmQ6RjBSxgFA4aTd

What the hell is this?
Another great instamined shitcoin.
I can't believe, that a lot of ppl are buying this coin, only because of the dog on the coin.
If this works, then I make a new dog puppy coin and getting rich  Grin Cheesy

Maybe the instamined coins are sold already on bittrex and the coin can go up a little bit.
But if the instamined coins are not dumped until yet, then this will be really ugly.
I wish you all the best with this scam-coin.

Edit: I have checked the two addresses with all the instamined coins on it. They are still there! O my god, if this is sold, you can see 1 sat on bittrex. .... OMG ... this will be an ugly implosion ...
I'm taking a seat and watching ...  Shocked

lol, there are some instamined coins. and you re talking bullshit.
most of the instamined coins got shared over the community/IRC.
and a huge part of the instamine was a pool which sent the coins straight
to the miner. and as you know with the start diff every miner finding a block
getting the WHOLE block. so DON'T SPREAD FUD AND WRONG INFORMATIONS!

lol ... a LITTLE instamined :-)))
All (!) first 50 blocks are instamined by the same guy ... maybe the dev ?!
This is funny ...
And that crappy analysis is also worth nothing, because it says, that it's totally normal nowadays to instamine the first 50 blocks with the highest amount of coins.
Come on ... I have mined a lot of coins from the beginning, but no coin I know has the most coins in the first block.
Nowadays it is inverted to this scam, you get only one coin the first 50 blocks to prevent such a scam.

This will be a nice blowoff, i'm watching.  Wink

Exactly, I'm still waiting to hear why the dev would make the first 50 blocks the largest block rewards with a total of 6,250,000 coins and then ninja launch announce the coin AFTER those blocks had been mined. As I mentioned in the first page of this thread, Ninja launch + all the largest rewards grouped in to the early blocks when the diff is lowest. That's a great combination if your into insta-mined shitcoins and that's exactly what the block explorer shows. All the malarkey about a pool that was mining before the launch getting those coins is nonsense.

I've been around for years, your typing is very pathetic & looks exactly just like people who just missed the "boat", and desperately trying to cause FUD, to buy cheaper Smiley

This coin launch was fair.

Anyone with BTC can invest by renting big hash power to mine all the profitable blocks from the start, but its just like gambling cause you dont know the coin will die or survive, renting hash is not cheap.

As I mentioned in the first page of this thread, Ninja launch + all the largest rewards grouped in to the early blocks when the diff is lowest. That's a great combination if your into insta-mined shitcoins and that's exactly what the block explorer shows all the malarkey about a pool that was mining before the launch getting those coins is nonsense.

Hello? Here I am ? you are asking the dev, here I am ? there were multiple miners from block 14. thats just complete bullshit and stop being butthurt that you missed it. join irc and become a fanboy Smiley

lol ... a LITTLE instamined :-)))

Wink

SHIBUYE!!

Do you mean, that this was a ninja launch with this picture?
OMG ... I can't believe it ....

I've been around for years, your typing is very pathetic & looks exactly just like people who just missed the "boat", and desperately trying to cause FUD, to buy cheaper Smiley

This coin launch was fair.

Anyone with BTC can invest by renting big hash power to mine all the profitable blocks from the start, but its just like gambling cause you dont know the coin will die or survive, renting hash is not cheap.

... this coin is the exact opposite of a fair launch and I think you know this !!
No one was able to rent a rig and mine the profitable blocks from the start, because it was ninja launched, after the first blocks were mined by the dev.
You look exactly like a person who has a lot of this shitcoins and twist the reality to leaf the "boat" before it sinks....
