I cant wait to see new wallet. I have sleeped better since i now know that i will get some of money back that was ment to use summer festivals.  Cool

I think u should hold for the longer term, i mean ppl just want to get money out, you guys should be aiming to help and ask to get more venders, better art, whatever ur talent is. I do not like this attitude of "Oh nice now i can get some of my money back", change ur mentality as Asiacoin itself is money.

Let them dump their AC.  The sooner they get transferred from weak hands to stronger ones, the better. :-)

Makes me angry tho. I cant beleive they just say good things but dont do any work while so many of us pour blood, sweat and stress into this project.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Dear Community

I appriciate you being with patient and supporting us until now, we are in contact with multiple exchanges and they are reviewing our code. We strongly suggest everyone to do the same, check it line by line against other PoS coins such as Cinni and BlackCoin to ensure for themselves and community that there is nothing wrong there, and indeed our fix does what needed to be done (invalidate the premined coins by not allowing them to stake or transfer).

I am going to release the new wallet internally to a selected number of members here at this thread who showed their support of the project, only to ensure that a lot of people do run the new wallet and of course to increase its user base and to receive feedback.

Stay with us dear community. Stay strong. Asia Coin has never been better than what it is now.

Is there any risk that some ppl lose the coins they bought from dev tho?

No, as explained in the first post.

If you're happy with our work on AsiaCoin revival, please consider giving us trust feedback and provide donations to the new AsiaCoin Foundation.

Makes me angry tho. I cant beleive they just say good things but dont do any work while so many of us pour blood, sweat and stress into this project.

Let people do what they would like.  I will be happy for anyone that can sell.. or buy.  I think it would great to see this coin "functional" again across the eco system.

Anyways, it is always incumbent on the few .. to lead the many..

Not if purchased prior to block 18013 (last time withdrawal from premine happened).. anything afterwards is fair game to be forked (but that hasn't happened yet.. no one received coins from premine after 18013 yet)

I personally got tons at 1600sats+ which is why some could be from the dev, but im not that concerned because that answer made perfect sense. So many sheep lol, if i had the money i would just buy 99% of all AC and then sell it back much higher like in the case of BC.

Nope, no risk. Only the dev wallet was banned in the patched code.

Let them dump their AC.  The sooner they get transferred from weak hands to stronger ones, the better. :-)

We need evangelists, even if they only intend to dump their investment. I think that's a reckless move considering the stake rate, but to each their own.

i don't see my self selling my AC coins even if it is 40k only.. seeing this has a great community and it is proven that the support is real and not just support for profit, markets will love AsiaCoin now.

It's amazing to see this turned around. It says a lot about the Devs in the community to step in "when scams are found" and try and do what they can to help out. Some of these Devs even do it for free. I don't have much, but I put up a banner on my coin page, and I'm trying to collect some funds to donate to the AsiaCoin revival foundation.

Just a note to everyone that has the new wallet: This wallet should be considered a beta for testing purposes.  It is superior than the old wallet , so nothing is lost.. it's only better..

However, we're still waiting for reviews from major exchange developers.  They may request more changes.  Bter/C-Cex already gave the thumbs up, but waiting on Mintpal and Cryptsy devs to get back to us with their reviews and green light.

I'm glad they are carefully reviewing it though, it's a good sign.

If they come back with further change requests, I will have to patch and re-release.
