Hi AC Community

I was in a discussion with the WoodWallets.io about wooden AsiaCoin wallets, and in order to get the crafting started we would need to make a pre-order of at least 15 wooden wallets. Is this something the community is interested in?

The cost is 0.043 BTC (~6150 AC) for a one-sided wooden wallet (public or private key), and 0.057 BTC (~8150 AC) for the two-sided public and private key.

Note: Please only confirm interest if you're ready to pay for it as we need to pre-order at least 15 if we want to have AC added. We can arrange it but only if we have enough interest to fill the pre-orders.

I'm working on a video that goes into a brief history of the coin and then goes on to explain the plan for recovery. I could use some help and opinions. If anybody is willing to help me decide on a couple things then please send me a private message so I can send you some questions to help make this video the best it can be.

Please dont say plan for recovery, say plan for adoption because AC's already recovered now we are looking for real world adoption

Could be used for cold-storage, could be used to carry around with your public key to receive AC from others, you could have two for example, one for public and one for private key. While you carry your public key around you keep the private key in a safe place, so your coins are safe in any way. It's more of a luxury rather than something really functional and practical. One could argue you could use a paper to the same effect (or a picture on your phone), though it won't be as classy or durable as a wooden wallet.

once the news gets round that AC is not a scam and the premine has been void, the whalers will buy the price will go up.

There's a nice sell wall on mintpal, price 600 satoshi 3.2 btc...I'm not willing for lower price as 600 even it is a good opportunity to buy more.
IMHO, wider adoption is far better than just few whales have milions, so we can avoid pump&dump.

True, mate. And the people on Cryptsy will be the ones that got the biggest disappointment with AC since they were the only ones who got their coins frozen. Well, I guess it's time to send more BTC to Cryptsy and wait for them to open the flood gates.
