I've created a video to help spread the word about the new fixes, it also goes a little bit into the history of AsiaCoin.

If you guys like it, I would appreciate any donations.

Nice video! Added it to the site. Ignore those who are accusing you of being the original dev. I cleared it up in the article at http://www.coinssource.com/3-days-the-death-and-re-birth-of-asiacoin/

I am Dallas Solomon Urban, I was mistaken for the Old scammer asshole dev because I made a video on how to mine AsiaCoin. I made the mistake of leaving my email in the video and so people thought I was the original dev when the SHTF and people were trying to find a way to track down the original dev. All I did was make a video for AsiaCoin to fulfill a bounty. I AM NOT THE ORIGINAL DEV.

Please don't start fighting in this forum.  I believe Dmann was mistaken for the original dev but was actually someone who was trying to help the coin as he is now.  There is no evidence against Dmann at all.  At this time we should be thanking him for contributing to AsiaCoin.

Keep this forum constructive please, and just ignore rather than reply to those that want to be destructive.

Nice work on the video and thanks for contributing.

Guys, would any of you perhaps like to help another coin fix their wallet? I am sure this will spread the good name of your team even further and will benefit AsiaCoin in the long term. There is current 500k CFC bounty (0.5% of marketcap) for an experienced developer to fix the Coffeecoin PoS wallet problem. If interested you can contact this guy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221089

I agree. There is really no excuse for cryptsy not opening trading when other exchanges are open for business. Reflects poorly on them IMO and makes me wonder what their motives are.... I suggest everyone email them and ask on chat to try and get them to make a move. They've had plenty of time to 'review' the code by now. So email, chat, tweet big vern , etc. We need them to open .

Are any multipools buying yet?  http://ac2.pool.mn/ hasn't made a purchase yet.  I think one of the next steps is to get people mining (and thus purchasing to increase buy pressure) again.

Cryptsy's motives are pretty clear. No AC going out, means they are PoS mining like crazy atm.

They will get caught out if they do, and that will damage their reputation.  So I'm going to assume they are not, but time will tell...

I will never trading anymore on cryptsy!

But lets send all of us emails and go to the chat to ask add AC!

It's are our coins and not from them!! I ask a lot of time to sent back the AC coins to my wallet but no answer Wink

I don't seem to understand how do I move balance into the "Stake" balance in order for PoS to work. Any advice?

You can't manually move them into stake balance but if your wallet is unlocked and your coins are mature for staking (2-week+ old), they should go into stake balance automatically.

Oh ok thanks.
Another question : I have an encrypted wallet, I understand it must be unlocked in order to mint coins. But do I need to leave the wallet running? If I close the wallet will it lock itself and then won't mint coins?

Edit: Never mind, found answers on the website Wink thx

SAVING ASIACOIN – PART TWO
I am hopeful that what this team has accomplished is a paradigm shift leading to a culture change for the better. For crypto currency to become main stream with broad base merchant adoption we must work hard to build mutual respect, trust and confidence. This is a worthy cause we all need to support.

For full disclosure I was not a stake holder of AsiaCoin before the meltdown. I do currently own 270,000 ACs and will support the market when appropriate. I am also a founder of DNotes and Cryptomoms. The opinions expressed in this article are strictly my own and not edited by anyone.

@Dyna sees the forest for the trees, and knows there is SOOOO much more to be gained in this game by doing it the 'right way' than by doing some 'fly-by-night' low-brow scheme like the original dev. We can all make millions in crypto if you work together and focus on long-term goal of legitimizing crypto, and stop trying to get rich overnight.

I hope he has 1000 BTC's to support the market with, when necessary LOL.

Makes me feel better about the shares I still have locked up on cryptsy.

Thanks, you certainly have the right ideas. However, don't raise your hopes too high. I am still working really hard to be the come back kid. LOL.

Hi there Dyna,
Thank you for your support and kind heart. I know most coin forums are loyalistic and promoting alternative currencies is considered bad form, but I think all of us have appreciated your supportive write ups and would like to know more about dnotes and cryptomums.

How can we be part of your community?

Ac2, thanks for your kind words. To avoid conflict of interest, let’s just focus on Cryptomoms. Cryptomoms is developed and fully funded by the DNotes team as a high priority project with mutual benefits for the entire crypto currency industry. Its core mission is to encourage and assist women to participate in the emerging world of crypto currency overwhelmingly dominated by men by a ratio of 19:1.

Cryptymoms.com is a currency neutral site and has a very active forum with helpful contents added frequently. Everyone is welcome. I strongly urge AsiaCoin community members to use this as an additional platform to promote the amazing revival of your favorite currency. I have already started a thread titled “Saving AsiaCoin”.

Bringing Cryptocurrency To Women Worldwide Cryptomoms Launches 3 Million DNotes Giveaway

April 16, 2014 9:15 PM
.

The official launch of Cryptomoms.com will begin with a huge give away of up to 3 million DNotes. Cryptomoms.com's mission is to address the huge gender imbalance seen in the world of cryptocurrencies today.
April 16th, 2014 / The fact that the emerging world of cryptocurrency is overwhelmingly dominated by men has never been in dispute. As of April 2014, surveys show that currently the male to female ratio is 19:1, or 95% (male) to 5% (female). This troubling gender imbalance has been voiced by women’s advocates and discussed in different Bitcoin forums; but until now a highly focused and dedicated effort to change the playing field has been lacking.
Developed and fully funded by the same team who created DNotes, Cryptomoms.com officially launched today in the Mid-West, USA; aiming to bridge the gender gap as clearly articulated in their mission statement:
“Cryptomoms.com is a digital community center with a dedicated mission to encourage and assist women to participate in the emerging world of crypto currency overwhelmingly dominated by men. We begin by creating a culture of mutual respect for women with genuine efforts to help them acquire the basic knowledge about digital currency along with many earning opportunities. We will relentlessly pursue to accomplish our mission through multiple campaigns and outreach projects and invite the participation of our industry peers and advocates to join force with us. We will set very specific quantifiable goals and sponsor creditable surveys to measure our achievement against those goals. For the common good of our industry we are committed to make a difference.”
The Cryptomoms forum is already buzzing with great enthusiasm and excitement. In a matter of days one can feel that a new culture is born. There is a great a sense of a family atmosphere, where everyone is genuinely excited to welcome new members, helping, teaching and inspiring each other.
While both men and women are welcome, there is a sense that there is some kind of super “girl power” taking charge that could change the male dominated world of cryptocurrency forever.
The official launch of Cryptomoms.com will begin with a huge give away of up to 3 million DNotes. Participants who register and participate in the forum will be sent 250 DNotes to their wallet address. In anticipation that many will be new to the digital currency world Cryptomoms supporters will be on stand by to help. The site is already fully loaded with instructions and tutorial videos. For beginners, it is also recommended that they simply open an account with an exchange where DNotes is currently listed which includes Allcoin and Poloniex.
A spokesman from DNotes commented that for digital currency to become truly mainstream the huge gender imbalance must be corrected, as women control more than 50% of consumer purchasing power. He elaborated that DNotes is positioned as a serious digital currency, with a strong commitment to generating trust and support for its stake holders. In a never ending journey to build asset value for their stake holders: Cryptomoms.com is the first of many ambitious web properties planned by the Dnotes team.

Regarding the e-commerce merchant potential, I am a partner of Smokeysdaylilygardens.com, one of the largest daylily growers in the world. DNotes is holding back in pursuing any merchant accounts until we are well established with a solid foundation and relatively stable currency level. However, if your team feels that it is worth getting AC a foot in the door, I will be delighted to make a presentation to my business partner.

I think getting started with customer aquisition angle may be best to pursue first.. it is low risk for merchants given its really independent of price.  Kind of just like coupons...

In time once the price really stabilizes then full service or products can be exchanged.. but imo no one really exploiting the coupon angle atm..

Anyways perhaps you would consider joining the foundation team.. to help make such decisions.  It would be great having someone with your experience to advise us.

Even though its only been a week.. we've formed a very talented and professional group of people... I am very fortunate to be part of it.

micryon, I am honored to be invited to join your foundation team. Unfortunately, I may not have the time to be an active member. I believe it is of critical importance to AsiaCoin at this time to have a team that can focus and deliver on a list of high priority projects and tasks in a timely manner. Accept the fact that your team will have to live through a “testing of integrity” period which often demands a higher standard. Don’t over commit and get involved in more projects than your team and the community can deliver.
Work with your foundation and the community to come up with a philosophy for AsiaCoin which will become the guiding principles of AsiaCoin’s culture over time. What do you want AsiaCoin to be known for and what is your mission statement?

These are just a few important points you may want to consider. I trust that you already have a lot of very capable people to serve as members of the foundation team. Do feel free to contact me any time if I could be of help. AsiaCoin will have my continued support. Stay the course and continue to do the right things. The inherent human greed and fear will be intensely tested over the near term with wide trading range. Long term investors should value this as a unique opportunity to be part of history, resulting in significant appreciation over time.

You may mine here.  http://ac2.pool.mn/  They don't seem to be paying out yet, but hopefully that changes now that AC is back on Cryptsy (and of course, MintPal).
