They have ridiculous fees indeed and I wouldn't buy or sell anything there cause they rip 1/5th of what the product is worth which is kinda ridiculous.
We should be able to pay with bitcoin on ebay then it would be more attractive cause we cut the fees in half.

You cant fight with company fees actually, the only way to fight it is just leave this company for themselves, dont let them earn money thats all.
I agree with you anyway, these fees are insane, its not fair for us,the customers indeeed...

Indeed the only way to protest against these fees is to not shop there anymore and not use paypals service anymore either.
But that's kinda ridiculous though although I have to agree those fees are incredibly overpriced.

This is the best way to avoid  these  ridiculous  fees of  ebay and paypal  by leaving them and  would not  use anymore   their  services and  would not purchase on their sites. They are confident enough to put  high fees  since they  dont have any competition but  if  bitcoin would  be adopted with this  kind  of industry then for sure ebay and paypal would really have a  hard time.

I wasn't aware of this high fees that eBay/PayPal have. This is really high in my opinion, I'm glad that I didn't try this services before.
Everything is expensive today, and everyone just watch how to earn more and more money, that's why they have so high fees. I think all this is good for bitcoin, when people see how much better is to have and use bitcoin, they will quit all this fiat services.
I think they are aware of fact about absence of competition, bitcoin will show them.

I have stopped using both services long ago for this particular reason. I rather pay directly from my debit or creditcard then for it to go trough paypal first and take much more taxes and fees then my creditcard company does. Paypal is a scam which is dressed up in legal papers.

I sometime use ebay aswell but like you said alot of money goes to their fees which is a bummer but in some way right too since you use their service.
But paypal is the biggest scam, pay fees to transfer money which doesn't cost fees just so they can make money off your wallet.

Paypal provide a service, and if you try to make transactions from one country to another you will pay bigger fees then they charge. Ebay fee is quite big as they just provide a platafform to sell and buy things, they could easy reduce and keep happy, but the thing is both companies must pay taxes to have their business running.

I stopped using ebay but with the service of paypal I am still using it because there are still some payments that I still need to receive through paypal because they are still not knowing that bitcoin is much better than paypal. I keep on telling them that they can save a lot of dollars if they are going to migrate into using bitcoins and forget paypal.

Bitcoin is  too far away better than paypal and  as you said  you could able to save  money more on bitcoin because it does have  only small amount of transaction fees and also  the transfer is also fast. People would surely migrate  to bitcoin if  they  would be aware on the  transaction fees compared to paypal.

The fees are over the roof indeed. To sell something on ebay takes away so much money right now that it's unbelievable.
And paypal i don't even want to start about how bad of a service paypal is and we still pay this much fees.

Indeed, we cant really avoid these things because we are using their services thats why  we have  no choice but to consider and  pay their high fees which is sometimes  frustrating. The best way to avoid these fees  is that  we wont   use their services anymore hence bitcoin is there we could established our own.

They both have ridiculous fees so they kinda stack dont they and then you lose alot of money. Wouldn't it be cheaper to directly use your creditcard instead of linking it to paypal first though

It is not rediculous that ebay and paypal are putting very high fees on their products and that is more that they dont want to lose that much when the price of the bitcoin is dropping you know they are taking bigger risk than you.

What you can do about this is exactly nothing so it kinda stinks. You could use other services but there's not really a place like ebay anymore.
Paypal is shitty though and easy to replace I'd advice everyone to choose another web payment over paypal.

Everyone needs to know that they are puting that fees into the products because when the price of the bitcoin is going to drop that much they are only making more and more losses and you are not risky enough for them.

Paypal has so many unnecessary fees, therefore i perfer bitcoins as it has no fee

Indeed paypal has alot of fees and also they freeze your account very often which costs time and money to unlock.
Ebay's fees are ridiculous too but they have monopoly on their website so nothing you can do about it i guess.

Ebay and paypal both have ridiculous fees indeed and when you use both services the same time you could lose quite alot of money.
If you calculate how much money you loser to fees any fees per year then you'd be amazed how much you can save by just trying to dodge those fees with a workaround.

Agree, if you try to calculate those  fees on annual basis for sure you would be shocked  on how much you would save if  you havent use  their services after all. Its much better  to search some alternative which  could able to save you  more and  avoiding those  on the roof  transaction fees.

We do have alreasy openbazar and some others trusted shops to try to save those money wasted at fee into those two companies, its boring know you cant buy directlu from China, because your country wanna to tax the products comming from there. Anyway im glad i left paypal since i meet bitcoin, i can send and receive monet at my bitcoin wallet the same way i did with paypal and cheaper, getting more.

Every person needs to know that they are putting that fees on the products not for nothing because they are taking to big risks if they dont you know if the price will fall the market also.
