THIS is why we need to start getting sellers to migrate over to open bazaar.

They wont change anything around their fees, they do have image and reputation, soo they charge accordingly those, in the next years they should raise those fees, there is two good projects that might change the market, something that openbazar werent able to change till today, i dont use it and i believe it were the future, but the fact to have to download to use it i dont like it and i wont make such.

Yes, this is about they will tryign to charge about 20% along with paypal fees. This has become hard to sell things on Ebay but Amazon is good if you have large amount of sales and if you can handle a premium account That will save you a lot.

Soo to anyone be able to have a better profit they should pay for those, because i do believe those premium its a feature paid, but those premium will show the ads in the top, maximizing the potencial to sell more. The problem here is the big fees being charged from those two companies.

Amazon more comfortable to use with purse.io with flat 15% discount on every purchase bro. Now you need to have premium account also in this case. Kindly switch to purse.io. To say about paypal, yeah its worthless when we compare with bitcoin. These kind of organisations only stopping the bitcoin's growth.

Don't remind me.  I pay way too much every month to them.  I'm fed up with waiting for something to open up that's decentralized and accepts btc.  At this point it might be quicker to construct my own ecommerce standalone web site and accept btc.

There are plenty of crypto based projects on the market. Openbaar, bitbay, particl etc. The first 2 offer a fully working alternative. It will take time before they can complete with larger players, but thinks can happen fast, just look what happen to bitcoin adoption in just 11 months.

The fees with services similar to PayPal might be big, but what the user gets is an assured payback, which is not found with our bitcoin. Once the transaction is made we cannot make any return, until the user himself sends it back. EBay has got few traders  who support bitcoin as payment. Maybe in future this will increase bigger than now.

Yes they are ridiculous and have been for some time, and that i don't sell a lot on eBay anymore.  Last time I did, I noted in the product explanation that I take bitcoin but the purchaser compensated by Pay pal.   They such as the purchaser safety and that i don't blame them.

They have gotten rid of their listing fees, but now charge a higher final value fee, even on shipping costs now.  you have to pay the PayPal fee on the total sale, not the sale amount after eBay fees.  Its ridiculous and too bad how they rob people.

That is because they also want to make profit fro it. Due to the unstable cost of the bitcointhey cannot provide you with the complete quantity of cost. That is what they calculated for a possible lose of price.m

Yes, the high fees do not concern most users, Ebay, amazon and aliexpress users are grouped together with masses. Ebay user fees are not affected by fees.

Bitcoin isn't high for now but before when it is on a war against bitcoin cash the price decreases but the fees are very high. But now it is good and cheap again just customize your fees as the recommended fee is quite high for low transactions up to $5.

When are you talking about and which Bitcoin wallet do you make use of, because the last time I made a transaction with the Blockchain wallet, I wasn’t charged up to $2 (it was below $2) so I guess you are making use of an exchanger wallet, cause I was once making use of Xapo (which is also an exchanger) and when I’m making transactions, I’m usually charged around $5+ plus, I even remember being charged close to $10 dollars for a transaction. This time around I just make use of Blockchain wallet, paper wallet and Trezor.

Very rarely such issues of increased transaction fee with delay in confirmation takes place. This happens when price fall of a sudden or goes high unexpected leading to a large number of trades getting opened. This gradually decrease when the price growth stabilizes and I believe such an situation might have  taken place with the Op.

There seem to be crisis on ebay because i notice they now redirect customer from on this classified site (gumbree, kijjiji) to ebay when customer's search for item on ebay.

I thin there are way's to wrap & sell digital product's to buyer's in order to cover up with recent fee.

Thanks

For a seller like me the problem I face is being in a pretty niche market other than Facebook groups it would be impossible for me to sell my items.  Considered building my own website but I've always worried about traffic issues. While eBay and PayPal fees are extremely high, The worldwide exposure for an auction site is unmatched. Just waiting for the next best thing to come along, but in 15 years it hasn't happened.
