The fees are absolutely ridiculous, in fact it will make a lot more sense that they charged you for listing your product there since in fact that is the service they are offering the opportunity to list your product on their website.

There are many thread and talks about paypal fees and scam attempts. Here we are discussing about ebay fees as well. If anyone do not like services of paypal and ebay.  Just step out from those services and go for the minimum fee services like bitcoin.

This is something that is certainly true. Because paypal is now providing services that are very sensitive so it can interfere with any transactions or activities that occur. So indeed I now and most of the users of the bitcoin waiting places or stores that want to accept bitcoin as payment instruments and certainly gives a very reasonable price

While that is true, if you are in eBay your sales will drop like a rock if you stopped accepting PayPal at all besides while bitcoin is great for the seller now the buyer will be a lot more  fearful of completing a transaction with bitcoin because bitcoin payments are irreversible.

Like a person said already he sold something for 4000 dollars, and the total fees taked from those were 25% soo those websites had stoled those person, but in the end its about trust and people do trust into those two companies, and them take advantages of the reputation they have.

Right about that its all about the trust and due to that they can abuse their power over people to ask such ridiculous fee's pretty insane if you are asking me.

I know PayPal charges very steep fees, but I can't believe they charge someone 25% in fees for a normal transaction.

That would be beyond insane as that would equal $1000 in fees regarding that $4000 transaction.

I don't believe PayPal is doing that to its customers. It just doesn't make sense.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

When  bitcoin doesnt exist  on previous  years  before, paypal services  is one of the most famous service provider regarding on  online transactions which  most  people  before have  already experience with it thats  why when bitcoin is launched   and could  they already  said  about its differences. You cant blame people hence they would  definitely use the most  famous thing where everybody was using before.

Maybe this is the reason why they got hacked last night, just like netflix and amazon did too.
Disgrunted customers who got ripped off from all the fees that they charged them on their own money. Roll Eyes

eBay and paypal are well known for their high fees.

This is also one of the reasons that Prices on eBay are pretty high compared to other online shops, the sellers pay a lot of fees to eBay, and because of that they need to increase their selling price so they can get their desired amount.

Don't use paypal unless you really need to, you can always use bitcoin and convert the funds to real world fiat pretty easy, you don't need to pay PayPal those huge fees.

Because PayPal is basically a monopoly and people done have much of a choice, while there are other payments systems, PayPal is without a doubt the most used.

Out of there great service well they are charging reasonable fees but for me, that is not really going to make their service to become used by more people. Maybe they are already got their investment since it was created, I think they should lessen the fees that they are charging when someone is going to have transaction.

If they are already awared that their customers  or   users  are  gradually decreasing  because of bitcoin then for sure they  would    intend to  lessen  their  fees soon.
If they would continue  to implement  high  fees then  for sure  they would  make their  customers would  go  to bitcoin.

paypal is ain't monopolying the market because if you see on few market they're also accepting another payment method as an alternative so the buyer could make its own decision, people are using paypal because it's popular, having trust, and also available to be payment method worldwide

Paypal has build an amazing reputation, and they dont support scams, some projects may use them for a while till they find and ask for some documents, usually this is when the most people loose their money, because they cant proof they own a companie, but those two really do charge too much for the service they provide.

Both Ebay and PayPal have crazy fees...but that's what you get when you get "on the street" brand awareness.  While ebay is ebay...at least there are a few up and comers that offer a bit better rates for money transfers.

But they are not even putting their fees in promo because they are standing firm for their own charging fees and that is keep on stable. Well but I don't know if they are valuing their customers since they have millions of users. So they will not have a problem if they lost maybe hundred thousands of users still they will earn. Even with the fee from the usage of platform been "justified", it's totally abused. PP also has many dumb taxes for everything. Now, the ultimate taxation is the customs. Can you imagine some taxation around 65%, that's what we have in Brazil. Another source of taxes is Amazon, and the worse part is that you can't negotiate international taxes.

Btw, the service is very simple, but the costs are extreme. It's a shame. That's why we're here, to turn the table.  Grin

I hear allot about this fee why are you thinking that this is ridiculous I don't think it is, simple because lots of people don't know much they do.
Remember they have to hire staff to make sure there is customer support etc.

Suppose that would be the same case with bitcoin, then I would be sure nobody would bother the fees.
