@michelem

Sorry to bother. new release update please.
will it include updated mining software and configs. -or will we be using the same ones
have a small issue with cgminer and bfgminer not detecting all my g-blades

can someone post their config on their g-blades what they are using eg. cpuminer / bfg miner / cgminer please
another small issue im having is that the the miners start off great but like an hour later they have dropped to
half their speed. what could be the cause of this.. ?

thanks for the great software and support guys.
was also thinking of the donation box could you not rather set in the Support Minera! sections
after the user has supported a well sort of % towards the software it would be able to remove the adds / donations.

also if you have multiple blades ive seen people using a 80 chip setting is this correct ..? doesnt seem right to me
and how would I implement the modules and chip settings.. thanks.

thanks.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I don't think I will update anymore the current Minera.
The new Minera is coming soon. (But it won't have USB miner support by now)

For any questions about miners (the hardware devices) please use the relative forum thread because I don't know much about them.

Hi michelem,

my adds-free version of minera has re-enabled the adds, could you please assist in removing these adds again ?
I thought that one donation was enough to remove the adds permanently on each device.

Write me in PM, send me your minera ID (if you add the donation pool you can look at it as the username) and the email of the payment.

I'm having the same problem with ads after donating months ago. Now I am unable to access Minera at all. The main add appears in the center of the browser window and I can't make it go away to pull the information you are requesting.

Try to update the code:

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
sudo git reset --hard
sudo git pull origin master

To get the Minera ID from the console:

Code:
redis-cli get minera_system_id

just plug your USB miners, setup the solo pool adress and off you go.
If you nad network miners, you have to set them to use the correct pool individually and add them to Minera as network miners for monitoring.

appologies for being idiotic what is the solo pool for GLDcoin
am not sure how to do this with other altcoins.

I tried to edit the rpc for the goldcoin wallet and run as server but the miner does not connect.
must i explicit open certain firewall ports even though my upnp is enabled.. >?

I'm a newbie but I've recently set up Minera from the image file on a Raspberry Pi B+ I had laying around doing nothing and hooked it up to a Gridseed Blade I got cheap on ebay. So far, I have to say I'm very impressed.

For me, I am finding that using bfgminer with pre-configured Gridseed Blade settings seems to be the best combination. I get good hash rates reported from the pools I've tested it with and these seem reasonably close to the reported device hash rates. The only issue I've seen with bfgminer is that sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to start it up and get it to recognize both devices. Once it has recognised the devices though it keeps running smoothly.

I've also tested with cpuminer, again using the Gridseed Blade preset. This combination seems to reliably detect the devices first time but I'm finding that the reported device hash rate is much lower. The pool hash rate seems about the same as with bfgminer so I'm assuming it's just cpuminer giving incorrect readings for the devices.

As a newbie, I'd just like to ask if anyone else using Minera with a Gridseed Blade if there's any other config they'd particularly recommend and if my experiences with bfgminer and cpuminer are what would be expected.

if you type a word in the search box at the top right of this page, it will search this topic for the word.

Try gridseed Smiley

I'm going to add this to the new Minera.

And folks with Antminers (or similar) get ready, I will need you soon to start testing the new app.

We are really close to see something. Stay tuned.

what i hope to see in the future is Freq/Temp tasks
like what a fan do to manage temp i hope to see freq did also
so i can add tasks like ( if temp exceed 95 reduce freq to 550 ) ( if temp lower than 90 increase freq to 575 ) and so on.

Well,
I think it's time you deserve to see something, not much because you should see it "moving", but I hope you like a couple of static pictures to start :-)

Yes I will add that but only to be displayed, for the scheduled rules they will use the device temp (that I think it's an average of the boards)
