I just tried the trick with the dot at different positions in the gmail address and it indeed works perfectly. You can vote several times x10 this way and I am almost certain that the NXT guys implemented some bot in order to push them this high.

The exchange frontend looks very nice, but you can see in the order books already that its mostly a bot fight (the API seems to work very well). Personally I consider this as a drawback, but well, Mintpal trading is also highly manipulated so its probably naive to assume fair trades in the alt coin market.

Oh and alison03: Your beloved honorcoin is a blackcoin fork and tries to hide all references to BC in its source, however they missed to change one reference to blackcoind in the locales ... not very honorable imo.

whoa....definitely not 'beloved' - if you see my post history, I'm long on bc and have been here since almost the beginning. I just found out about honorcoin today and don't know too much about the it, and definitely didn't know about the copycat. Adding it to my sig apparently gives me free coins (so they said) = dump it to buy more bc - figure it's better than p&d bc to gain more coins (I just buy and hodl). Have you outed them in the thread? That's definitely messed up tho.

Hehe alright, wasn't meant offensive. Getting some free coins is never a bad thing. Yes I mentioned it in their thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=639043.msg7190774#msg7190774) but didn't get any reply. I also noticed them recently because they claim to provide anonymity to all alt coins, which indeed sounds like a honorable move. I am also not against copying code, but imo they should provide a proper reference - just as rat4 also referenced the code base he used to create BlackCoin.

no worries at all, just had to make sure I clarified and that I'm not shady cause I 100% believe in bc, lol!! my sig has changed from coin to coin and the only ones I hang onto are ones that are stuck at the bottom and aren't worth my time to dump, in hopes it'll go up someday. 

I figure this is the easiest way to get more bc while only keeping pressure from the bottom up and not the other way around. But I'll post there too. Free or not, I don't like scams or sketchy coins that like you said, are not honorable in their creation. That's lame.

Hello BlackCoin world! Today we come with a new version of the BlackCoin wallet. No, it's not the PoS 2.0 update you guys all want but we did add a lot of fixes and updates to the wallet.

First one is actual QR codes within the wallet. When you go to the Receive window you can now generate QR codes for your addresses and actually use them to request payments.

Next one, for those that use the rpcssl feature: We have updated to the next OpenSSL feature as the news broke yesterday that there were problems with OpenSSL once again.

We also added a lot of bug fixes and one of the huge ones is of course the 'crash at first launch' bug. It should be fixed now so please check it out.

Do note that updating to 1.0.7 will require you to re-download the whole blockchain.

IMO in no more than a month we should be about this price level. In 24 - 48h the Vericoin bubble will burst, then we start going up. Then, with good news about different implementations, further up. I've been 100% BC for about two months, just bought more on the way, would buy more now if I had more funds. When you look at the graphs, you will notice that shortly after the XC bubble burst, we rallied 60 % up.
